P2P(peer to peer lending, hereinafter referred to as P2P)is a form of Internet finance. In recent years, the P2P network lending platform has developed rapidly. However, the high-risk problems in the P2P industry are frequent. From 2013 to 2018,Internet finance has been written into government work reports for five consecutive years, from the initial “promoting development” to the “sound Internet financial supervision” in 2018.Behind it is the change of the industry environment. In the past five years, the Internet finance industry has experienced explosive growth, and it has also witnessed the sudden rain-style rectification and entered the “strong supervision” stage of normalization. Therefore, combing the development status of China's P2P industry at this stage, theoretically analyzing and combining existing platforms to quantitatively evaluate existing risks, and proposing relevant recommendations have certain theoretical value and strong policy reference significance for promoting the development of China's P2P industry.First of all, this study summarizes the research results of P2P by domestic and foreign scholars through the method of literature review, and puts forward the need for further research.Secondly,it introduces the development history of China's P2P platform by referring to relevant materials, summarizes the current business model and status of China's P2P platform, and identifies the main risks faced by China's P2P industry, and believes that there are five major risks. That is,operational risk, credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk, and cyber security risk. Then, based on the research of relevant scholars, the risk evaluation system of P2P industry is constructed, and the weight of each risk is determined by the analytic hierarchy process. Then the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to evaluate the risk of China's P2P industry, and the P2P industry in China is found. The overall situation is in a high risk state.Specifically, the operational risk is very high, liquidity risk, market risk, and network security risk are high, and credit risk is generally. Then, this paper selects Lujin as a case and mainly analyzes its six major risks, and finds that its credit risk and cyber security risk are relatively high, and the operational risk and liquidity risk are relatively low. Finally, according to the research conclusions, relevant suggestions are given for the risk management of China's P2P industry.
