Transportation is the instrument of national rejuvenation and the foundation of a strong country. In recent years,Tibet's transport infrastructure has gradually grown, forming a comprehensive,three-dimensional transport network which including highways, railways and aviation.Transportation infrastructure not only generates economic and social benefits through its own construction investment, but also through serving other economic sectors,to promote regional economic development. To study the influence between Tibet's transportation infrastructure and the development of various economic sectors,it have great practical significance to guarantee the long-term stability autonomous region and the stable and sustainable development of the economy and society of the Tibet.Based on the actual situation of Tibet and relevant economic theories such as multiplier effect and cost-efficiency analysis, this paper first qualitatively studies the interaction between transportation infrastructure and economic development in Tibet. Then,by combining the gray correlation analysis method with the input-output method, this paper studies the influence mechanism and path of various transportation infrastructure on economic development in Tibet through quantitative analysis, which not only fills the black-box defect of the correlation analysis, but also makes up for the lack of long time series data in the input-output survey of Tibet. The results show that :(1)The level of highway, railway and air transport in Tibet plays a key role in driving the growth of GDP and promoting the development of the three industries. The gray correlation is up to 0.9556.It also has played an active role in boosting the development of transportation, warehousing and postal service industry, financial industry, agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery industry, construction industry, wholesale and retail industry, etc.,among which the gray correlation between accommodation and catering industry and the three modes of transportation is in the forefront.(2)The construction and later maintenance and operation of the transportation infrastructure in Tibet are labor-intensive,the labor consumption is also high. The construction of the transportation infrastructure strongly drives the development of the local economy by creating more jobs;at the same time,it was found that the transportation infrastructure in Tibet consumed the most in information transmission, software and information technology services, transportation, warehousing and postal services, petroleum, coking productsand nuclear fuel processing products services, with a total consumption of 6.935 billion yuan to 42 economic sectors in 2012.Construction,transportation,warehousing and postal services, public administration, social security and social organizations are contributed the most by Tibet's transportation infrastructure, contributed a total of 11.526 billion yuan to 42 economic sectors in2012.(3)Based on the gray correlation degree and input-output analysis comprehensively,it can be seen that the industrial sector which has a higher correlation degree with the transportation infrastructure sector also has a greater degree of consumption or contribution. At the same time, combining with the multiplier theory, the economic benefits generated by Tibet regional transportation infrastructure's directly create added value, backward and forward sweep value(total20.953 billion yuan,2012),will be used for consumption, increase the consumer sector production, production increase consumer sector to drive the rest of the economy, further increases in economic benefits,in the whole society gradually formed a benign circulation.Transportation infrastructure so became Tibetan areas important hub and strong engine of stimulating domestic demand and promoting economic growth. In view of the research conclusions, this paper puts forward the following three policy suggestions :(1)optimize railway network construction and increase railway investment;(2)give full play to the radiation effect of transportation infrastructure and promote the reasonable distribution of tourism and other related industries;(3)construct a high-quality talent team which people-oriented,perfect the comprehensive transport system in Tibet.
