Recently,China's rapid economic development has caused great burden and harm to the environment.The frequent occurrence of environmental problems makes us realize that the way of economic development in the past is no longer suitable for this country.With the transformation and upgrading of China's economic structure,the country has been emphasizing economic development should take the environmental path.However,the weakness of economy and the acceleration of product iteration have made the market competition more intense.Therefore,to win the market competition,the enterprise must improve its own development mode from the perspective of the supply chain and environmental protection.Green supply chain management will inevitably become a hot research issue in academia and industry.In addition,as its core,green supplier selection will become the focus of research.By analyzing the domestic and foreign research status of green supplier selection,we discover the following problems in the current research.(1)The uncertain decision information should be better handled.Green supplier selection is a multi-criteria decision making problem,where the attribute contains both quantitative and qualitative criteria.In the decision-making process,the decision information of some criteria contains uncertainty,and the decision maker cannot make the remark accurately.Numbers and type-1 fuzzy sets have their own defects in the processing of handling uncertain information,which may affect the rationality of the final decision results.At present,there are few studies on the green supplier selection under interval type-2 fuzzy environment.(2)The criteria framework and the weight of criteria should have better adjustable and dynamic properties.The promotion of economic globalization,the high development of the Internet and the promulgation of national guidelines have increased the possibility of dynamic changes in the business environment.Therefore,it is not reasonable for decision makers to choose the model to deal with the problem with a certain index weight.Both the criteria framework and the weight should be adjusted appropriately as the business environment changes.In this way,the selected green supplier is the most suitable for the development of enterprises.(3)The completeness of decision-making information need to be strengthened.Green supplier selection depends on the knowledge background and industry experience of the decision makers.In a complex business environment,a single decision-maker has limit,and there is a risk of missing critical information.The reliability of the final selection will be affected by the corresponding results,which may bring unknown obstacles to the development of the enterprise.Therefore,with respect to the above problems,this paper mainly does the following work:(1)Based on the review on the green supplier selection literature,build the criteria framework from the product,environmental,cooperation perspective with comprehensive,dynamic,conciseness,operability,scalability and other related standards.(2)In order to overcome the defect of exact number in describing uncertain,fuzzy information,define the linguistic variables and their corresponding interval type-2 fuzzy scales.Further put forward the interval type-2 fuzzy ANP-VIKOR hybrid multiple criteria group decision-making method and detailed step is given.(3)With the proposed method,we can get reasonable result.The comparison with fuzzy ANP method and fuzzy TOPSIS method demonstrates that the proposed method is reliable.On the theoretical level,we can further enrich and perfect the decision theory and method based on the type-2 fuzzy information.The proposed method can provide new tools for green supplier selection.
