Over the past 40 years of reform and opening up,China's economy has continued to develop at a rapid pace,and financial markets are constantly changing.Private banking has become a trend for the future development of banks,and its position in the banking system is also growing.However,China's commercial banks have developed private banking business late,which makes the private banking business still have many shortcomings in marketing.This paper defines the research object as the private banking business of China Merchants Bank Hohhot Branch,and analyzes and explores its strategy in marketing.This paper introduces the concept of private banking,explains and analyzes the research theories involved,and then analyzes the development status and problems encountered by China Merchants Bank's private banking business,and analyzes it through SWOT method.Subsequently,it studied in detail the problems faced by the private banking business of China Merchants Bank Hohhot Branch in the marketing process,and analyzed the distinctive features of several private banks in domestic and overseas commercial banks,hoping to learn some successful experiences from them.Finally,according to the actual problems of the banking business of China Merchants Bank Hohhot Branch,some specific marketing countermeasures suggestions were put forward.According to the analysis of the current status of private banking business of China Merchants Bank Hohhot Branch,we will find that it has a strong development momentum,but there are also some problems in marketing,such as lack of competitiveness of products and services,narrow marketing channels,and no price advantage.Strong,low-profile commercial brands and flaws in the operating system.China Merchants Bank Hohhot Branch should enhance its ability of product innovation and service innovation,expand marketing channels,enhance price competitive advantage,increase publicity and promotion,and strengthen the improvement of the operating system.
