As the core “human capital” of an enterprise, employees are the backbone of the enterprise's survival and development.Critical thinking and creative thinking play an important role in the process of organizational change and employees' innovation practice. From the perspective of process engagement, this study relied on social cognitive theory and psychological resources theory to integrate creative process engagement and positive psychological capital into the framework of the influence of two different thinkings on the employee radical creativity behavior, constructed a mediated moderation model, which aimed to further explore the internal mechanism of two different thinkings on employee radical creativity behavior. The results showed that:(1)Both critical thinking and creative thinking had a significant positive effect on employee radical creativity behavior;(2)creative process engagement mediated the relationship between two different thinkings and employee radical creativity behavior respectively;(3)Positive psychological capital positively moderated the positive relationship between two different types of thinking and creative process engagement;(4)Further,the aforementioned moderating effect was positively related to employee radical creativity behavior through the mediation of creative process engagement. The results provide a novel explanation for the intrinsic mechanism and boundary conditions of “critical thinking and creative thinking can affect employee radical creativity behavior”,and also contribute to the innovation management and working practices of companies and employees.
