A Study On The Impact Of Service Trade Liberalization On Total Factor Productivity Of Service Industry

Along with economic globalization,there is the adjustment and optimization of industrial structure on a global scale.These changes and adjustments have deeply affected China’s economic development.The status of agriculture and manufacturing in the national economy has declined.The important role and status of the service industry in the national economy and industrial structure has become increasingly apparent.The rapid development of the service industry has made it an important engine for China’s economic growth and take-off.Along with the rapid expansion of international trade and the rapid growth of the service industry,the rapid growth of service trade has gradually become the main force driving economic growth.In recent years,trade liberalization is gradually advancing and deepening.Under the conditions and background of the open economy,there is no doubt that the development of trade in services will certainly be subject to restrictions on trade import and export,the size of barriers and the depth of trade liberalization.The impact,which is subsequently affected,is the total factor productivity of the service industry.So,what is the impact mechanism of service trade liberalization on the total factor productivity of the service industry? How deep is this impact? Which of the influencing factors of the total factor productivity of the service industry is the dominant factor? Based on the study of heterogeneous trade theory,what is the difference between the trade liberalization of different industries in the service industry and the productivity of the service industry?In view of this,this paper analyzes both theoretical and empirical aspects.On the theoretical front,based on the theory of productivity heterogeneity trade,this paper proposes the specific mechanism of the impact of service trade liberalization on the total factor productivity of service industry.From the aspects of resource reset effect and technological progress effect,it analyzes the path of influence that service trade liberalization influence the total factor productivity of service industry.Research shows that the liberalization of service trade has a positive impact on the total factor productivity of the service industry through the mechanism of resource resettlement and technological progress.In terms of the effect of resource resetting,trade liberalization leads to the resettlement of resources in the industry by causing the exit of inefficient enterprises and the transfer of market share between surviving enterprises;in terms of technological progress effects,specifically from technology choice decisions and technology spilloversin the industry.Analyze.In terms of empirical research,this paper matches China’s national economic industry classification with the international service trade statistics industry classification,and combines China Statistical Yearbook database,China’s service trade statistics,national business data center data,historical direct investment statistics bulletin,and finally selects The sample data of the five service industry industries from 2004 to2014 was used to measure and measure the total factor productivity of the service industry as a whole and in the sub-sectors.By constructing a fixed-effects model,the impact of service trade liberalization on the total factor productivity of service industry is investigated.Then,this paper tests the existence of different industries by empirical analysis of trade liberalization in different industries of service industry and productivity of service industry.In addition to the difference,the rationality of the influence mechanism of this paper is verified by the adjustment effect.This paper also expands and analyzes the influencing factors of the Malmquist index,and concludes that technological progress is the driving force for the promotion of the total factor productivity of the service industry.At the same time,it also finds that the performance of technological progress in the various segments of the service industry is more consistent.Finally,based on the conclusions drawn from this paper,the corresponding policies and recommendations are put forward.
