In recent years, with the development of the online car-hailing industry gradually becoming more healthy and standardized, more and more platform companies pay attention to the quality of services and long-term economic benefits. The high-quality development of platform enterprises has also led to the rise and growth of a number of small and medium-sized enterprises that provide transportation resources for the online car-hailing market.SX is a company specializing in serving the Chengdu online car-hailing market, providing legitimate and compliant vehicles and drivers for all platforms, ensuring that the platform has sufficient transportation resources to serve urban Residents' traffic travel. This paper focuses on SX company, and studies the online car-hailing supply chain of transportation capacity from driver to SX company and then to travel platform to ultimately served passengers and comparing with the traditional logistics supply chain, analyzed the characteristics and differences of the online car-hailing supply chain of transportation capacity.Through investigating and interviewing SX company and collecting and analyzing historical operation data,we find that SX company has three problems in the supply and allocation of transportation resources.Firstly, the long-term transportation capacity supply lacks planning and is only guided by platform assessment indicators, which results in the driver's long-term orders not full and gradually separates from the platform and SX company's management problems.Secondly,SX company did not make detailed planning for the daily capacity arrangement, and the driver decentralized decision-making to provide services, resulting in untimely response to travel demand and inefficient utilization of transportation resources.Thirdly, the order processing procedure led by the platform is not humanized enough, which causes the driver to be unsatisfied with the result of order allocation and to respond negatively to the travel demand. In view of the above problems, this paper combs the relevant theoretical knowledge of implementing VMI mode in the traditional supply chain in detail, and applies this theory to the online car-hailing supply chain of transportation capacity, opens up the upstream and downstream information flow, gives SX company more power, plays an effective role in the regulation of transportation capacity management, and constructs the VMI management mode of online car-hailing transportation resources suitable for SX company.Firstly,by analyzing the historical order data of the platform, the fluctuation law of long-term travel demand is found, and the problem of insufficient planning caused by SX company's incomplete travel information and platform index deviating from actual demand is elaborated.Using the viewpoint of push/pull process of supply chain,SX company can get close to the demand market, obtain comprehensive demand information and establish long-term capacity supply process.Secondly,by comparing and analyzing the demand and supply data of SX company,it finds the fluctuation law of demand in single-day,and further elaborate the short-term supply problem caused by SX company's failure to obtain real-time travel order information and lack of capacity management and dispatching power. And draw lessons from VMI's replenishment process and supply chain pulling process theory, optimized SX company's short-term capacity supply process. Finally, through the analysis of the platform-led order processing procedure the paper elaborates the problem of dispatching orders caused by the platform's ignorance of driver's service preferences, while SX company has no right to dispatch orders although it understands driver's preferences, and reforms the order processing procedure with SX company's participation, giving it the right to dispatch orders, considering the preferences of drivers and passengers, establishing soft and hard constraints for both sides, and drawing on the idea of stable matching to put forward the basic process of order matching with driver.
