Study On The Influence Of Agricultural Insurance On Agricultural Development In Henan Province

Henan Province is a major province of traditional agriculture in China.Agriculture belongs to the core industry of Henan Province and occupies an important position in the socio-economic development of the province.Agricultural insurance,as one of the effective means to ensure the safety of agricultural production,is a universal measure for supporting the development of agriculture in the countries of the world.In 2007,Henan Province promulgated the "Pilot Plan for Henan Province's Policy Agricultural Insurance",which is a landmark event in the history of agricultural insurance development in Henan.Subsequently,the provincial government invested a large amount of funds each year to subsidize agricultural insurance.The agricultural insurance industry in Henan Province has developed rapidly,the coverage has been steadily expanding,premium income has continued to increase,and the development situation has continued to be strong.This has played an important role in decentralizing agricultural risks,safeguarded agricultural production and stabilized farmers' income.Today,agricultural insurance occupies an increasingly important position in the agricultural industry in Henan Province.This paper mainly investigates whether agricultural insurance has played a role in promoting agricultural development since Henan Province implemented policy-oriented agricultural insurance in 2007.This article first carries out a normative analysis of the relevant concepts of agricultural insurance research and the role of agricultural insurance in safeguarding agricultural production and promoting agricultural industrialization during the course of operation,and then summarizes the development status of agricultural insurance and agricultural economy in Henan Province and select the total per capita agricultural production value,per capita agricultural insurance premium income,per capita crop area,per capita agricultural fixed assets,agricultural employees accounted for 5 indicators of the impact of agricultural insurance on agricultural development in Henan Province from 2008 to 2015 Empirical research.The results of the study show that per capita agricultural premium income has a significant positive effect on the per capita agricultural production value.This shows that after 2007,agricultural insurance in Henan Province has played a significant role in promoting agricultural development and has achieved certain policy effects.However,as mentioned in the article,there are also many problems in the development of agricultural insurance in Henan Province at present,which has hindered its role in promoting agricultural development to a certain extent.Therefore,the last part of this paper addresses the problems in the development of agricultural insurance in Henan Province.,put forward relevant feasible and effective policy recommendations.This paper uses both normative analysis and empirical analysis synthetically.Based on the research of the two,combined with the deficiencies in the development of agricultural insurance in Henan province,it proposes specific policy recommendations for the future development of agricultural insurance in Henan Province in anticipation of Henan Province's agriculture insurance can play a better role in the promotion of agricultural development in the future.
