Rural settlements are important places for agricultural producers to live and carry out production activities.Their formation and development are often influenced by nature, society, economy and culture. As the capital city of Sichuan Province,Chengdu is also a national regional central city, occupying an important economic strategic position in the western region. At the same time,Chengdu,as the first batch of pilot cities for urban and rural planning and development, comprehensively carried out new rural construction and implementation of the policy of increasing or decreasing land use for urban and rural construction. For more than ten years,Chengdu's economy has developed rapidly, the urbanization process has accelerated, and the urban boundary has been continuously expanded, breaking the traditional urban-rural dual pattern. The urban-rural differences are further decreasing, and the evolution of rural residential areas is accelerating, showing a clear layout.Morphological change. This paper uses the Tyson polygon and landscape pattern index method to study the temporal and spatial characteristics, landscape pattern and evolution of rural residential development in Chengdu, revealing the temporal and spatial evolution characteristics of residential distribution, and exploring the influencing factors of its evolution. On this basis,Construct the minimum resistance model to evaluate the suitability of residential construction and propose optimization suggestions. It is intended to provide theoretical guidance and decision-making basis for the rural revitalization plan of Chengdu and the management of rural residential land, and also provide reference for the layout optimization of rural residential areas in similar areas. The main conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)The distribution characteristics of rural residential areas are mainly as follows: the scale of rural residential areas is mainly affected by urbanization and topography, and the distribution of rural residential areas gradually increases from the main urban area to the suburbs to the outer suburbs. The main urban area, suburban area and far The proportion of rural residential areas in the suburbs to the total area of rural residential areas in the city is 2.64%,34.21%,and 63.17%;the size of rural residential areas is generally small, and the small-scale(0.04-0.4 hectares)accounts for about 78%,medium-sized.The proportion of(0.4-4 hectares)is about 21%,and the number of large-scale(more than 4 hectares)is less than 1%;the distribution of rural settlements is in the central city and the northwest mountainous areas of Pengzhou,Dujiangyan, and Chongzhou. The city and Dayi County are unevenly distributed or unevenly distributed. The distribution of rural residential areas in other districts and counties is evenly distributed or evenly distributed.(2)The evolution characteristics of rural residential areas are mainly as follows: in 2010-2017,the overall area of rural residential areas showed a downward trend, with a total reduction of 1869.56 hectares;the scale of rural residential areas tends to moderately aggregate, and in 7 years,small-scale The number of residential areas has decreased significantly, while the number of large-scale residential areas has increased only slightly. The size of residential areas has been moderately clustered from small to medium scale. The value of Cv in rural Voronoi maps has decreased slightly. The average area of Voronoi map polygons is in rural areas. There is a slight increase in the background of the decrease, indicating that the distribution of rural residential areas in the city is more uniform, but the uniformity of the distribution of rural residential areas in different districts and counties is quite different.(3)Based on the above analysis, the spatial layout of rural residential areas in Chengdu is strongly influenced by natural conditions, location conditions and economic conditions. This paper further analyzes the influence of natural conditions, location conditions and economic conditions on the spatial distribution of rural settlements from the factors of altitude, slope, river, road, town, cultivated land, agricultural population, farmers' net income and total agricultural output value. The results show that more than 80% of rural settlements are distributed in plains with an altitude of 300-600 meters and a slope of less than 6°.In rural areas with elevations greater than 700 meters and slopes greater than 15°,only rural areas are scattered; On the other hand, within 2000 m from rivers, roads and towns;within 100 m of cultivated land, the distribution area of rural settlements is the largest;the number of rural settlements is positively correlated with the number of agricultural populations. With the development of social economy, urbanization is accelerating. The number of rural settlements is decreasing, showing a trend of urban growth and township reduction consistent with population changes;in addition, policy factors such as new rural construction,urban-rural construction land use increase and decrease, etc.also have a certain impact on the distribution of rural residential areas.(4)Based on the analysis of the influencing factors of rural residential development, the least resistance model is used to calculate the resistance value of rural residential layout, and the resistance value of the whole city is divided into five grades, and then the resistance results and rural residential layout Perform overlay analysis. The results show that about 90% of rural settlements in Chengdu are in the least resistance or less resistance area, mainly in the central part of the city and the area east of Longquan Mountain Range. The rural residential areas in the moderate resistance area are mainly distributed in the plain and mountain transition. The rural settlements in the larger and largest resistance areas are mainly in the mountainous area of Longmen Mountain in the northwest.(5)According to the distribution of rural residential areas in Chengdu in different resistance areas and the overall development layout of Chengdu, the layout optimization of rural residential areas with different resistance zones is proposed.
