Saffron,the world's most expensive spice has great potential for Afghanistan.As a priority sector of the country's national export strategy,the success of Afghan saffron will bring significant economic and social advantages to the country.As the highest-value spice in the world,the long-run profits generated from quality saffron cultivation could be an important incentive to farmers to pivot away from illicit opium production towards an industry with genuine export potential.The high labor requirements of saffron production offer significant employment opportunities in both peak and off-peak seasons,especially for women and youth in Afghanistan.International spice connoisseurs have already acknowledged that Afghanistan has the potential to produce globally competitive saffron,as shown by awards received at international competitions.China's geographical proximity to Afghanistan,along with its large population,makes this market an export destination with considerable potential for the Afghan saffron sector.Some Afghan saffron companies have already received a degree of exposure in the Chinese market after participating in the International Food Exhibition and Imported Food Exhibition in Guangzhou,one the most prominent food and beverage exhibitions in China.To make a good business plan for exporting saffron from Afghanistan to China,we need to know the potential of exports of Afghanistan and the demand rate in China.This business research begins with introduction,which includes research background and significance,research questions and objectives,and literature review.Next,it covers profile of the business,operational strategy,marketing strategy and financial capabilities of the company.Thus,the market structure of the Afghan saffron market and the potential opportunities of an investment is also studied.Further,environmental analysis,sector analysis,marketing analysis and SWOT analysis has been discussed.Finally,risk management identifies the risks and challenges ahead of the company and ways for effectively managing those risks.The implementation of this plan will contribute to promoting and branding the company product in near future in China.
