Innovation is the only way for an enterprise to remain invincible.Since the "mass entrepreneurship,innovation" was put forward,it has aroused the trend of innovation for the whole people.For the information technology industry,economic technology is constantly developing,market competition is becoming more and more fierce,and it is indispensable for enterprises to obtain market in complicated competition.Innovation is the soul and lifeline of enterprises.And as executives and decision makers of the company,does the background characteristics of the team affect the innovation of the company? If there is an impact,what background characteristics will affect business innovation? Does internal control act as a regulatory variable to suppress or promote? The scale of corporate assets is different,the management style of executives is different,and the influence of team background characteristics on corporate innovation is consistent?In order to solve the above problems,this paper selects the information technology industry as the research object,and selects the senior management team size,average age,female executives ratio,average education level,production R&D background ratio,overseas background ratio and academic background ratio.Variables are explanatory variables,enterprise innovation is the explanatory variable,and internal control is the adjustment variable.Make assumptions,build models and conduct data analysis,and finally draw conclusions.The research results are as follows:First,from the full sample,in the information technology industry,the average age of executives,the proportion of overseas background and the proportion of academic background are significantly related to corporate innovation.Among them,the average age of executives was significantly negatively correlated with corporate innovation;the proportion of overseas background and academic background was significantly positively correlated with corporate innovation.Secondly,the internal control is regarded as the adjustment variable to study its influence on the relationship between senior management team and enterprise innovation.It is found that internal control has a regulating effect on the characteristics of senior management team and enterprise innovation.The specific performance is that internal control has a restraining effect on the relationship between executives with academic background and corporate innovation.Third,from the perspective of sub-samples,the characteristics of executive teams of large-scale enterprises and small-scale enterprises have different effects on enterprise innovation.In small-scale enterprises,the average age of executives is significantly negatively correlated with corporate innovation;the proportion of overseas background and academic background is significantly positively correlated with corporate innovation.In large-scale enterprises,the proportion of executive R&D background is significantly positively correlated with corporate innovation.Similarly,the characteristics of executive teams in aggressive and conservative companies are not exactly the same for business innovation.In conservative enterprises,the average age of executives is significantly negatively correlated with corporate innovation;in the senior management team,the proportion of overseas background and academic background is significantly positively correlated with corporate innovation.In radical companies,the average age of executives and the proportion of female executives are significantly negatively correlated with corporate innovation.
