Study On The Self-reliance Awareness Of Poverty Households In Precision Poverty Alleviation

In the context of the in-depth development of targeted poverty alleviation and the imminent realization of comprehensive poverty eradication in 2020,it is particularly important to pay attention to the endogenous motivation of poor households,which is a concept highlighted by General Secretary Xi Jinping when he visited Shanxi Province in June2017.Its core content,including the consciousness of self-determination in poverty alleviation,and There are few studies in this field in China.By choosing S County,a key poverty county in Luliang City,which is concerned by the state,as the research object,using the methods of investigation-research,literature review and others,to analyze the poverty characteristics of S County,through in-depth interviews with poor households and village working teams and collecting data,it is found that some poor households in S County have weak awareness of self-poverty alleviation,which is manifested by dissatisfaction with some poverty alleviation measures,strong dependence,and massive sense of powerlessness.This situation also exists to varying degrees in other poverty-stricken areas of the country.Based on the theories of hierarchy of needs,empowerment theory,welfare dependence and the other relevance theories,this paper analyses the subjective and objective reasons for the weak awareness of poverty alleviation of poor households in S County.The conclusion is,the concept of "peaceful with poor life" is deeply rooted in the long-term poverty culture,poor households depend on poverty alleviation resources,the influence of some poverty alleviation measures,and government is too strong to lead the poverty alleviation.Then the corresponding countermeasures are put forward.Firstly,we should arouse the subject consciousness and participation of the poor households;secondly,we should change and improve the ways of poverty alleviation;thirdly,we should improve the working mechanism of targeted poverty alleviation;fourthly,give full play to the advantages of social work,in order to stimulate the poor households' awareness of self-poverty alleviation,thus forming a systematic solution to S County's poor households' weak awareness of self-poverty alleviation in precise poverty alleviation.This has important practical significance for promoting poverty alleviation and development in S county and even the whole country.
