Research On The Development Strategy Of Asset Custody Business Of Bank Of China Heilongjiang Branch

Asset custody business in our country from 1998 since development of closed-end securities investment fund custody,after 20 years of development,custody assets is presented the development trend of diversification,asset custody business position in the financial markets,asset custody business have not occupy economic capital,low capital consumption,income stability,low cost,stable capital precipitation,business synergies obvious characteristics.As the intermediate business of commercial Banks with "light capital",asset custody plays an extremely important role in improving the comprehensive service capacity of commercial Banks,adjusting the business development structure,adjusting the income structure relying on deposit and loan interest margins,and pursuing transformation and upgrading.The generating and operating mechanism of asset custody business are firstly illustrated in this paper,and expounds the basic theory of asset custody business.Secondly,The occurrence and evolution of asset custody business and the development direction of asset custody business were summarized in China.Then it analyzes the current situation and existing problems of asset custody business of Heilongjiang branch of bank of China.The main problems include:the hosting business system process is not standardized,easy to cause the risk of violation;The type of investment custody business is single and there is no ability to provide all-round services;Hosting business customer base is weak,the lack of new impetus.The internal and external factors causing some problems are further analyzed.Finally to solve the problem,put forward to perfect the rules and regulations construction,choose appropriate branch business development of trust products,dig the focus of the local customers,to strengthen the training of branches and department guidance,strengthen the linkage of the whole marketing,continue to broaden the deepening custody business services and other corresponding measures,to ensure the smooth implementation of transformation scheme at the same time,this article also from the staff performance appraisal,training mechanism construction as well as the software development and so on several aspects put forward the safeguard measures of thedevelopment of the custody business.Combined with the author's many years of work experience,this paper aims to provide intellectual support and development countermeasures for the development and transformation of asset custody business of Heilongjiang branch through analysis and research.
