A Study On GL Travel Company Financial Performance Review Based On EVA

Chin's economy has entered a new normal,and people's living standards are gradually improving.Under this background,tourism has developed rapidly and become a sunrise industry,which has been listed as the third largest industry in the world.Tourist market is very active because of the increase of tourists.More and more competitors and completely independent travel mode have a certain impact on tourism companies.Faced with the competition market of increasingly fierce and requirements of customers' high-quality service,tourism companies want to achieve long-term and stable development,it is necessary to manage the company effectively according to the specific situation of the company.Financial performance evaluation is the core of corporate management,which determines the company's decision-making?objectives and direction.At present,the most of companies' financial performance evaluation system is based on net profit,It analyses the company's performance from four aspects:profitability,solvency,operation ability and development ability.However,this method only considers debt capital and ignores equity capital.Furthermore,it has the possibility of whitewashing statements.The financial performance evaluation system with EVA index is based on shareholder's.From the point of view,it can reflect the management of the company more effectively?accurately and comprehensively,so it has great significance to improve the performance of the company.This paper takes GL travel company as the research object,uses the comparative method to analyse andstudy the application of EVA in tourism industry,so as to promote the long-term development of the company.This paper is divided into six parts:the first part is the introduction,which introduces the background and significance of this study,the literature review on financial performance of EVA at home and abroad and the existing innovations;the second part mainly introduces the performance evaluation and the basic theory and methods of EVA;the third part makes a simple analysis of the main business and operating conditions of GL travel company,and uses traditional financial indicators to analyze its current operation performance,and finds the shortcomings of traditional financial performance analysis;The fourth part draws into EVA in financial performance evaluation,adjusts accounting subjects according to the principle of adjusting EVA indicators,calculates the value of EVA of GL travel company from 2014 to 2018,creates a new financial performance evaluation system,and then compares EVA indicators with traditional financial indicators in order to make up the shortcomings of traditional performance analysis;The fifth part is the suggestion,in order to improve the performance of GL travel company,propose targeted countermeasures on the basis of EVA evaluation;The sixth part is the conclusion and outlook,using EVA to analyze the financial performance of GL travel company,it is found that EVA can more accurately evaluate the company's financial performance,but there are still some shortcomings,so should summarizes it,and looks forward to the future,finally puts forward the direction of future research.
