With the further structural reform of the supply side, the non-performing assets of overcapacity enterprises will be exposed. The pressure on commercial banks to digest non-performing loans is also growing. The data shows that the balance of nonperforming loans of Chinese commercial banks has increased compared with the third quarter of 2011.In the fourth quarter of 2018,the balance of non-performing loans in China's banking industry has reached 2.03 trillion yuan.At the same time, the nonperforming loan ratio of Chinese commercial banks increased from 1.04% in 2014 to 1.89% in 2018.In the context of overcapacity, banks lack an exit plan for nonperforming loans, which leads to their own resources being trapped in overcapacity industries, making overcapacity problems and bank credit risks more serious. As an innovative financial instrument,non-performing asset securitization provides a new way for commercial banks to dispose of non-performing assets. This paper starts with the current situation of non-performing assets of Chinese commercial banks, analyzes the regional distribution of non-performing loans of major commercial banks, and confirms that overcapacity is a major reason of rising bank credit risk. Then,we sorted out the transmission mechanism of overcapacity to bank risk, selected the data of manufacturing listed companies from 2011 to 2016,and used the data model to demonstrate the correlation between overcapacity and bank credit. Then analyze the feasibility of the non-performing asset securitization program in China's overcapacity industry.A case study of the non-performing asset securities products issued by the Agricultural Bank of China in 2016.we finally propose a specific plan for the securitization of non-performing assets in overcapacity industries.through the analysis of the case.
