Network information technology has experienced rapid development since its emergence in the 1990 s.With the increasing popularity of the network, its relationship with the economy and society is getting closer. In this context, the network economy came into being, and it also brought many characteristics different from the traditional economy. As a new type of economic pattern, its impact is reflected in all aspects of social activities.Based on the characteristics of network externalities in the network economy, this study uses game theory to discuss the competition situation and strategy choice between two types of enterprises with different business models in the economic market. At the same time, this paper explains the segmentation and integration phenomenon of competition market since the emergence of network economy through evolutionary game theory, which can provide reference for the benign and orderly development of enterprises and markets in the new economy.Firstly, this paper discusses the competition and integration between traditional enterprises and Internet enterprises after the emergence of the network economy based on the reality, and summarizes the relevant theories and existing research. On this basis, the research content of this paper was confirmed, the research ideas were clarified, and the research technology route of this paper was designed.Secondly, this paper constructs a decision-making competition game model of heterogeneous enterprise cross-market development for the competition between two types of enterprises that operate a homogenous product, and divides the market into two categories: the complete product market and the incomplete product market.and analyses the operation of the two types of enterprises in the competitive market under different market coverage and different strategy combinations. Finally,on the basis of static game theory, the evolutionary game model is constructed to simulate the dynamic evolution process of competitive market, and the evolutionary equilibrium under different market coverage is analyzed according to the results of the model.Different from the existing research, this paper makes a further distinction between network externalities when constructing the model, taking into account the different influence mechanisms of direct network externalities and indirect network externalities and reflecting them in the model at the same time. The results of this study show that when the product covers the entire consumer market, there are two evolutionary directions according to the difference in shopping cost. That is,both types of enterprises cross-market and non-cross-market,which corresponds to the separation and integration of traditional market and network market. When the product does not cover the whole consumer group, there is only one evolutionary direction for the system-both types of enterprises make cross-market decisions, that is,the traditional market and the network market are integrated.
