In recent years,due to the rapid development of Internet technology,online shopping has become a new shopping method that is familiar and accepted by people.Cross-border e-commerce as one of the ways to shop online is also being loved by more and more people.This new business model integrates offline business resources and enables the circulation of goods and goods between countries through online transactions.China's cross-border e-commerce started from 2012,and it has achieved rapid development under the support of national policies and the needs of domestic and foreign large markets.At present,cross-border e-commerce has become an important driving force for China's import and export trade,creating a large number of economic benefits and jobs for the country every year.Therefore,the healthy and orderly development of cross-border e-commerce will be conducive to the development of the national economy.The transformation of cross-border e-commerce company MW from a traditional foreign trade company is a microcosm of many traditional foreign trade companies in the fierce market competition environment and the background of the entire era.In the process of development,the optimization of business model is the inevitable way to cope with competition and seek survival.The problems faced in the process of business model optimization are also common problems faced by many peer companies.This paper draws on the business model and related theories of e-commerce and cross-border e-commerce,and uses cross-border e-commerce MW company as the research object of this paper through literature research method,case analysis method and comparative analysis method.Apply PEST analysis method to analyze the environment of cross-border e-commerce company MW,and analyze the existing business model based on business model element theory,and have low gross profit margin and single source of income under the existing business model.The problems such as heavy cost burden,fierce competition,and the causes are sorted out and elaborated.Through the analysis of the successful cases of domestic and foreign business model optimization,it is concluded that business model optimization can start from the optimization of business model elements,and at the same time refer to the conclusions of the external environment and internal influence factors of the enterprise.Therefore,the optimization of the cross-border e-commerce MW company business model of this research object is proposed from the aspects of Value proposition,key business,marketing strategy,talent development,technology improvement and brand strength.The process of enterprise development is the process of continuous optimization and updating of business models.It is hoped that through the research and proposal of the optimization strategy of cross-border e-commerce company MW business model,it can provide some useful help and reference for similar enterprises in China,and help China cross-border.The e-commerce industry is faster and better developed.
