Research On The Optimization Of A Company's Information System Based On Internal Control

With the intensification of competition in the power industry and the growth of business operation,the existing information systems have been unable to meet the realization of the strategic goals of company A.In addition,as a strategic adjustment of the power company,it is necessary to have a powerful information-based platform to ensure flexible resilience,thus supporting the change of business models,business processes and management model generated by the company’s strategic adjustment.As a state-owned large-scale power company,company A has accumulated abundant experience in the construction of the information system of power companies.At the same time,there are many problems that need to be solved urgently,such as information distortion,information redundancy and information absence.These problems have greatly abolished the company’s resources,reduced the company’s profit margin,affected the company’s operating efficiency,reduced the company’s operational efficiency,and seriously restricted the further development of company A.Therefore,it has become an urgent problem for company A to optimize the existing information system based on what is the standard of information system construction.This paper believes that informatization is essentially one of the means to strengthen internal control,which is the source of information system construction.There are three main requirements for information systems in internal control:enterprise information systems must support the strategic objectives of enterprises;information provided by enterprise information systems should be appropriate,timely,current,accurate and accessible;The enterprise information system should take the changes in the industry,the changes in the competitive environment or the changes in demand as well as the related costs and benefits into consideration.To keep the information consistent with the needs,that is to say,the information system should maintain the vitality of constant optimization.Therefore,the optimization of the information system from the perspective of internal control would help to solve the problems faced by company A in its current development.This paper is based on the existing theories and combined with the existing information system and data of company A,this paper analyzes the essential causes of the problems of company A.There are defects in information communication channels;lack of information system construction plan that matches with the strategic goal of the company.To solve the above-mentioned problems,this paper analyzes the information system optimization needs of company A from five elements of the framework system,as well as the perspectives of strengthening information and communication,updating information system data sources in a timely manner,promoting information resource intensification,data-driven management and deep data analysis.This paper also explains the concrete measures of information system optimization and the main purpose,thereby promoting the internal management efficiency of the company,enhancing the company’s risk management capabilities,improving the company’s internal control level,and thus promoting the company’s strategic goals.As an important part of China’s large state-owned power companies,company A has representative problems in information systems,which could reflect the status quo of industry development to a certain extent.Therefore,the research on the optimization of company A’s information system has extensive reference significance.
