Study On Sustainable Development Of Moudao Town,Lichuan,Hubei

As an emerging concept of town construction proposed in the no.1 central document of China in 2016,featured towns now have a long-term strategic plan.China is expected to build 1,000 featured towns by 2020.At present,the research on characteristic towns in China is still in the preliminary exploration stage,and there are many problems to be solved in the research process.Moudao town,Lichuan city,Hubei province,is a characteristic town with tourism as its leading industry,which is expanded based on the existing towns of Moudao town.In 2017,Moudao town was selected into the second batch of national characteristic towns.This article takes Moudao town of Lichuan city in Hubei province as an example to compare and analyze the data from five aspects:industry,infrastructure,tourism resources,housing construction and environmental protection.It can be seen from the data analysis that the current development status of this town at the current stage is optimistic and has made some achievements,but there is still room for improvement in quality,efficiency,expansion and deepening.In the context of the policy announced by the state to eliminate unqualified featured towns in 2018,a featured town also needs to take the road of sustainable development.This study tends to develop Moudao town into a healthy town,which is more in line with the concept of sustainable development.To conclude that Moudao town wants to develop as a feature town in a long-term development,must adhere to position itself,found their own problems and solve them continuously,to predict the future possible problems in time and to intervene,make professional and scientific planning and design with the help of third-party forces other than the government and the people,such as planning institutes and planning companies,so as to truly achieve sustainable development.The construction and improvement of characteristic towns not only organically integrates the existing culture,industry and resources of small towns,but also drives the development of surrounding areas,solves the problems of "agriculture,rural areas and farmers",and facilitates targeted poverty alleviation in rural areas.In addition,it can continuously deepen the theoretical research on the construction of rural towns in China and provide fresh cases and typical samples.
