Research On The Relationship Between Tourism Industry And Regional Economic Development In Zunyi City

Since the reform and opening up,people’s living standards have been further improved,and the development of tourism industry in China has also made remarkable achievements,and has become a new growth point and the most potential industry of our national economy.As a characteristic red tourist spot,Zunyi’s industrial economy is relatively backward.With its beautiful natural environment and characteristic red tourism,Zunyi can effectively promote the development of local economy.A large number of research results show that the development of tourism industry can stimulate domestic demand,promote the growth of national economy,adjust the economic structure,promote the development of related industries,improve and improve the material and cultural living standards of urban and rural residents.Therefore,the quantitative study on the contribution of tourism industry in Zunyi to regional economy and the relationship between tourism industry and regional economic development is not only of great theoretical value,but also of great practical significance.First of all,this paper uses quantitative analysis method to study the growth of domestic tourism income and GDP in Zunyi city from 2003 to 2016,starting from four aspects: tourism income dependence,tourism contribution rate,tourism pull rate,demand income elasticity coefficient.The contribution of Zunyi tourism to local economic development is illustrated by specific data,and the dependence of tourism industry in 2017 is forecasted.Secondly,through the method of grey correlation analysis,the correlation degree between the specific indicators of tourism industry and economic indicators is analyzed in detail,and the investment in water conservancy,environment and public facilities management is the optimal factor.The related degree of investment in the hotel and catering industry ranked second,the investment in information computer software,the investment in transportation,the investment in the cultural,sports and entertainment industry,the investment in social security and social welfare,The relationship between the investment of education and the development of tourism industry is also close,and the relationship between the investment of wholesale and retail trade and the development of tourism industry is relatively weak.Finally,excluding the influence of price change,using vector autoregressive model,using impulse response function and variance decomposition to analyze the relationship between tourism industry and local economic development in Zunyi.It is found that the tourism industry in Zunyi has a great impact on the growth of GDP in Zunyi,and the effect is sustainable.Co-integration test and error correction model show that the relationship between tourism industry and economic growth in Zunyi is mainly affected by long-term equilibrium,but is relatively weak by short-term dynamic changes.Through the analysis of this paper,we can see that there is a significant impact between Zunyi tourism industry and economic growth.In order to build Zunyi’s tourism industry into a pillar industry and improve the effect of tourism industry on regional economy,it is necessary for Zunyi city government to adopt reasonable policies and measures in combination with the present situation and future growth trend of Zunyi’s tourism industry.So that the tourism industry on the economic sustainability of the effect of effective protection.Finally,according to the research results of this paper,specific policy suggestions are put forward.
