Recent years,Studies related to emotional exhaustion have received wide attention from scholars.Because of emotional exhaustion phenomenon is becoming more and more common in the workplace,It has a far-reaching impact on modern enterprise management and human resources management,such as training and staff selection.This paper chooses emotional exhaustion as the outcome variable,and puts forward the negative impact of Calling on emotional exhaustion on the basis of previous studies.In addition,this paper will also explore the role of Thriving at work in the relationship between Calling and Emotional exhaustion,and try to verify the mediating role of Thriving at work in this relationship.This research adopts the network questionnaire survey to investigate the employees of enterprises from different provinces such as Beijing,Shanghai,Shanxi,Hebei,Jiangsu,Liaoning and so on.The measurement tools used in this study are CVQ scale developed by Dik to measure professional mission,MBI job burnout scale to measure emotional exhaustion,and Porath's work prosperity scale.After that,the data are analyzed by software,and the research conclusion is finally drawn.The results show that Calling has a significant negative correlation with emotional exhaustion,and Thriving at work play a intermediating role in this relationship.Specifically,when employees have a higher sense of Calling and can experience higher Thriving at work,their emotional exhaustion is less likely to occur...
