Research On The Development Of Exporting Agricultural Products In Myanmar

Located on the Central South Peninsula.Myanmar has excellent natural conditions and obvious location advantages,which are very suitable for the development of agricultural products.With the increase in foreign exchange earnings.Myanmar government has vigorously developed the agricultural products export industry in recent years.The agricultural products exported include the cultivation of agricultural products,forest products,animal products and aquatic products.The scale of exports has been continuously expanding.and the number of export categories and exporting countries has also increased,becoming an important product for Myanmar's exports.Based on the theory of comparative ad.vantage and the guidance of diamond theory,this paper uses literature research method,statistical analysis method and qualitative analysis method to study the status quo,problems and countermeasures of Myanmar agricultural products export.The paper expounds the content and development process of comparative advantage theory and diamond theory,and points out the guiding role of both in this study.The status quo of agricultural production in Myanmar is analyzed,including the production advantages of agricultural products,some agricultural products such as rice,sesame,beans and rubber,forest products,livestock products and aquatic products,as well as the export status of Myanmar agricultural products,including export scale and exports.The types,export methods,and export prices discussed the problems in the export of agricultural products in Myanmar and proposed suggestions for promoting the development of agricultural production and exports in Myanmar.Studies have shown that Myanmar's agricultural exports have the advantages of resources and policies.The scale of agricultural exports has increased year by year,and the types are constantly enriched.The main methods of export are general trade and border trade,and comparative advantages have been brought into play.However,there are complicated import and export procedures for agricultural exports in Myanmar.The weak transportation infrastructure,the low proportion of foreign investment in agriculture,and the low concentration of international brands of agricultural products are too concentrated.This has hindered the further development of agricultural production and export in Myanmar.It requires concerted efforts by the government,industry and enterprises to better promote Myanmar's agricultural production and export development.
