Risk Management Study For Multinational Corporation Owned Paper Industry Project

With the globalization of economy and the rapid development of China's economy,multinational corporations have seized the Chinese market with great potential.As to occupy the Chinese market rapidly,the effective way for multinational enterprises from EU&USA is to build a factory in China,and invest their mature production lines directly,paper industry is one of typical examples.In this thesis,take SE(Guangxi)paper industry project as the example,carry out the research for the risk management of multinational projects.Introduce the backgrounds of topic selection&meanings of the study firstly,summarize the relevant research literatures at domestic and abroad,and then introduce the theory of project risk management.Finally,introduce multinational corporation SE(Guangxi)paper industry project,emphasize the risk identification,risk assessment,risk response and risk monitoring for the whole project life cycle,identify the potential risks for all the project phases from preparation,engineering,purchasing,construction and commissioning,utilize the risk matrix to assess the risk rating by multiplication of risk likelihood and risk impact,invite area managers and functional department managers as risk experts to assessment them conclusively.The assessment result shows that personnel safety in construction,environment protection and bribery in business are the top 3 risks,then figure out the concrete actions based on SE policy and business strategy.To study the risks factors may appear in multinational paper project,it can make sure the project implementation successfully and provide the reference for similar projects as well.
