Research On Financial Support For Agricultural Modernization In Yunnan Province

Agriculture is the basic industry,which is very important to the development of national economy,social stability and the improvement of people's living standards.Document No.1 of China for more than ten years has been focused on agricultural development,which shows that our government attaches great importance to agricultural issues.With the continuous development of the national economy,the traditional agriculture characterized by small-scale peasant economy has gradually begun to become intensive,mechanized and modernized.Yunnan Province is a large agricultural province,which needs financial support in the process of agricultural development.What measures should be taken by the financial industry to meet the needs of agricultural development is a clear question for the government of Yunnan Province.It is also the main theme of this paper.This paper expounds the relationship between financial support and agricultural development by using the theories of imperfect competitive market,rural financial market and so on.After comparing the current situation of agricultural development and financial support in Yunnan Province,we find that there are several shortcomings.Then,it expounds the typical cases of financial support for agricultural development in the United States,Japan and other western countries as well as in some other provinces in China,and summarizes the advanced experience that Yunnan can learn from.After clarifying the current situation of agricultural development and financial support in Yunnan Province,combine the experience at home and abroad,the suggestions of financial support for agricultural development in Yunnan Province are:expanding and improving the top-level design of financial support,improving the service capacity of financial institutions,optimizing the rural financial credit environment,strengthening financial personnel training.
