Farmers' professional cooperatives are embedded in rural areas and naturally intertwined with farmers. They are mutually supportive cooperative organizations set up spontaneously by farmers. They are considered to be the most desirable organizational form to reduce poverty in rural areas and are increasing farmers' income. The development of modern agriculture and the prosperity of rural economy play an important and positive role. However, what are the real effects of cooperatives on increasing agricultural income and reducing poverty? What factors will affect the cooperative to promote agricultural income and poverty reduction effect? It is a topic worth discussing, but few scholars have explored these problems. To this end, this paper will strictly follow the general study of "Literature research-theoretical research-empirical research-countermeasure research".Train of thought. On the basis of literature review and review of the existing research results,623 micro-data of farmers in Guizhou and Chongqing provinces and cities were used to describe the data from the sample. On the basis of econometric analysis and case study, this paper further explores and analyzes the main factors that affect the achievement of cooperative income improvement and poverty reduction by demonstrating the actual effect of cooperatives on increasing agricultural income and reducing poverty. Finally, based on the results of empirical research, this paper puts forward some suggestions on how to bring into play the effect of increasing income and reducing poverty of cooperatives more effectively. The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)Analysis of the mechanism of farmers' professional cooperatives to promote income and reduce poverty. As an important institutional innovation, farmers' professional cooperatives are naturally "beneficial to the poor",capable of improving the level of division of labor, reforming trading channels, creating employment opportunities and revitalizing farmers' resources, stimulating social participation andother ways directly or indirectly promote agricultural income and reduce poverty.(2)the effect of farmers' professional cooperatives on increasing income and reducing poverty.Compared with a single perspective of income growth, this study uses the quantile regression analysis(QR)method, from the income growth and gap reduction dual perspective to demonstrate the cooperative income increase and poverty reduction effect. The empirical results show that farmers' participation in cooperatives plays a positive role in their income growth, and farmers' participation in cooperatives in poor areas will contribute to their income growth and gradually reduce the income gap in non-poor areas.(3)the influencing factors of farmers' professional cooperatives' effect on increasing income and reducing poverty.Indeed, farmers' participation in cooperatives can help them to increase income and reduce poverty, but what will affect the development of cooperatives' effects in promoting agricultural income and reducing poverty? In this paper, the ordered Probit model is used to demonstrate the important factors that affect the effect of increasing income and reducing poverty of cooperatives. The research shows that the service width, the membership system, the surplus system and the internal supervision of the cooperatives can significantly affect the development of the effect of promoting agricultural income and reducing poverty. In addition, compared with "one person, one vote",the director said that the decision-making mechanism is not conducive to the cooperative income and poverty reduction effect. In addition, whether or not to hold office or exercise authority, the individual characteristic variables, such as the degree of understanding of their own rights and benefits, can also significantly affect the development of the cooperative's effect of promoting agricultural income and reducing poverty.(4)A case study of farmers' professional cooperatives in promoting income and poverty reduction of farmers. In order to measure the performance of cooperatives in increasing income and reducing poverty, this paper selected two representative cooperatives, and discussed the actual effect and its influencing factors of increasing income and reducing poverty in cooperatives. It is believed that farmers' choice to join cooperatives will indeed contribute to their income and poverty reduction, but the service width and surplus system of cooperatives will affect the performance of thiseffect.Based on the above conclusions, this paper puts forward the following suggestion:first,Strengthen the development and cultivation of cooperatives and give full play to the carrier efficiency of cooperatives.Second, stimulate farmers' awareness of participation and expand the benefit of cooperatives in increasing farmers' income and reducing poverty.Third, strengthen the co-operative and farmers' interests, and constantly improve the level of farmers' benefits.Fourth, improve the internal governance mechanism of cooperatives, and give full play to the effect of increasing cooperative income and reducing poverty.
