In the context of information technology and "Internet+" to continuously promote the reform of China's financial industry,China's Internet insurance has emerged from time to time.Internet insurance is an important part of China's Internet finance development.Since the first electronic policy in 1997,Internet insurance has gradually become an important force for the development of China's insurance industry after more than 20 years of development.Nowadays,with the advent of the era of big data,a new round of technological change is about to be born,and how big data will be attached to Internet insurance has become a topic of general concern.In this context,this paper studies the application of big data in the Internet insurance value chain by means of the value chain framework,analyzes the subversion and innovation of big data on the insurance value chain,and helps strengthen our big data characteristics and insurance.The understanding of business integration also provides some reference for insurance companies to implement big data strategy to enhance competitive advantage.This paper firstly combs the development background and development status of China's Internet insurance.It finds that China's Internet insurance has a huge space for development.It is a blue ocean market.At the same time,it compares with traditional insurance and points out the advantages of Internet insurance.Secondly,it analyzes the value chain of Internet insurance and analyzes the composition of internal value chain and external value chain.From the perspective of the acquisition and use of big data,the external value chain mainly relies on the Internet for big data acquisition,while the internal value chain In addition to data acquisition,it also assumes the role of processing and using big data,and this part is precisely the core of the transformation and upgrade of the Internet insurance business.It is also the place where the Internet insurance company forms a competitive advantage and the profit generation center.Focus on the application of big data in the internal value chain of Internet insurance,and analyze the optimization mechanism of big data on the Internet insurance value chain.On the basis of grounded theory,this paper briefly analyzes the main application links of big data in the internal value chain,and focuses on the application of big data in product development marketing and claims management in the Internet insurance value chain,and analyzes the details in detail.The realization of the function of data in each link indicates that big data can realize personalized pricing and expand coverage in product development.In insurance marketing,it can realize segmentation target population,user hierarchical management,cross marketing,customer retention and loss analysis,and claims management.In the case of fraud detection and claims prevention,in order to highlight the application value of big data,the analysis is more convincing,and the practical application cases of big data in these three aspects are attached.Then it analyzes the challenges faced by big data in the application of Internet insurance value chain from the aspects of data sharing,compound talents and supervision,and gives corresponding suggestions.Finally,the research conclusions and research prospects are given.
