Under the current situation of de-leveraging and the economic downturn cycle,the requirements of financial supervision are becoming more and more strict.The banking industry is forced to face the transformation and adjustment of asset and liability structure,and the demand for public loans is gradually shrinking.Business has become an important way for banks to save costs and increase profits.As a result,the shift to retail business has gradually become the consensus of most banks,and it is also the adjustment and transformation that commercial banks are forced to make in the context of interest rate liberalization.From the current observation of the overall situation of the banking industry,whether it is a large joint-stock bank,or a state-owned barnk,a city commercial bank,etc.,almost all of the retail business and financial technology as the main direction of transformation in recent years.On the one hand,the banking industry generally recognizes that "the retailers have the best in the world" and vigorously lays out the retail transformation;on the other hand,financial technology has become a powerful starting point for banks to develop retail business,and the two complement each other.In recent years,Ping An Bank has leveraged the advantages of Ping An Group's comprehensive finance to closely integrate financial technology and new retail,and vigorously develop its retail business.In 2017,the profit contribution of the retail business will be increased to 70%in just one year.Why can we achieve such results in such a short period of time is worthy of our study and find the answer.However,the short-term profit growth does not mean that Ping An Bank's retail business has reached the time of China Merchants Bank.After all,financial risks are lagging behind,and the transformation and development of the bank's retail business structure cannot be completed overnight.Therefore,this paper mainly uses comparative analysis method,literature research method and chart analysis method,which combines the strategic objectives,core competitiveness and development status of Ping An Bank's retail business development,and at the same time the current macro environment and micro environment and the whole The current status of the retail business development in the industry is deeply analyzed.It is necessary to study the problems in the current market environment of Ping An Bank's retail business,and whether it still has the possibility of continuous growth.Based on the above,after in-depth discussion and research on Ping An Bank's retail business,and comparing with the benchmarking China Merchants Bank for the development of the retail business industry,the author found that Ping An Bank's retail business has small deposit scale and high debt cost among whiclh demand deposits accounted for Low.time deposit pricing is relatively high,interest margins are gradually narrowing;lack of customer stickiness,poor customer quality,among which the management of retail customer assets per capita is small,private banks,high-value customers account for a relatively low proportion:The wind control is not strict.Therefore,Ping An Bank's retail business wants to achieve sustained and rapid development beyond the peers beyond the market,and it is necessary to improve and develop from the following aspects under the overall framework of Ping An Group's comprehensive finance:First,make full use o f the Group's comprehensive financial resources and platforms.Expand channel cooperation,fully migrate high-quality customers,optimize cross-selling model,and integrate marketing resources.Second.optimize business structure,improve product system,expand the number of retail-based customers,and increase the access to retail demand deposits.Innovate deposit methods,optimize loan structure,and increase the proportion of housing mortgage loans.Third,strengthen private banks,strengthen wealth management capabilities,build an integrated product service system,transform traditional models with technology empowerment,and improve professional investment management capabilities.Fourth,improve internal control,improve risk management,strictly control asset quality,strengthen compliance risk management,and strengthen risk team construction.It is hoped that this will further optimize the development of Ping An Bank's retail business,and at the same time provide an empirical reference for the future development of various commercial banks,especially small and medium-sized commercial banking in the financial market.
