With the rapid development of information technology, computer hardware and software, and the Internet of Things(IOT)industry wearable devices, also known as wearable computers, have gained widespread attention as a new generation of intelligent portable devices, and are rapidly renovating consumer technology products.Gartner Consulting predicts that the global market for wearables end users will exceed $42 billion in 2019 and will continue to expand.Although wearable devices currently have vast development prospects, problems such as high homogenization competition, low user stickiness and high churn rate have emerged. Therefore,if device providers want to gain advantages and achieve long-term development in the current fierce market competition, they should not just consider the user' s initial adoption and purchase intention, what is more critical is how to retain customers and increase their continuous usage intention.Based on the above background, this paper combines theoretical research and empirical analysis to explore the influencing factors of user' s continuous usage intention towards wearable devices.Firstly,We reviewed and analyzed the literature on wearable devices and information system continuance model to find theoretical support.Secondly, according to the characteristics of wearable devices and from the perspectives of technology, personal and environmental, three personal characteristic constructs and two external environmental constructs are incorporated into the information system continuance model(ECM-IS):perceived self-efficacy,privacy concerns, innovativeness, subjective norm and switching costs,so as to build the theoretical model. Finally,in order to verify the rationality of the model,SPSS22.0 and AMOS24.0 software were respectively used for reliability and validity test and hypothesis test on 356 valid questionnaires. The results show that self-efficacy,subjective norm, and perceived usefulness in the ECM-IS model have a positive effect on users' continuous usage intention at p<0.001;innovativeness and switching costs positively affect users'continuous usage intention at p<0.05;however,privacy concerns does not have a negative impact on continuous usage intention.According to the research results, this paper provides wearable device providers and practitioners in the field of wearable technology with corresponding management implications and sustainability suggestions from the perspectives of technical, personal and environmental.
