China’s Internet industry set off a wave of mergers and acquisitions in recent years,online tourism is one of them.The development of mobile Internet technology and tourism provide the basis for the development of online tourism.Becuase the support of the country in tourism and the low penetration rate of China’s online tourism.,The online tourism industry has a bright future and great market potential.Online tourism and people’s lives are closely related,therefore,there are many researches on online travel enterprises,but the lack of research related to mergers and acquisitions.The merger of Ctrip and eLong has changed the structure of online tourism,which is the beginning of the great change of online tourism in China.At the same time,there are many deep strategic significance.In order to study M&A of Ctrip and eLong,this paper mainly uses the method of literature analysis and case study,analyzes the case enterprise with domestic and foreign M&A motivation theory and M&A risk theory,And the use of incident research,financial indicators and qualitative analysis of some of the non-financial indicators in this paper.On the basis of the case study,the author summarizes the messages,and puts forward some suggestions for the online travel network in combination with the development of the Internet industry and the characteristics of the companies. |
