Research On The Relationship Between Scale Expansion And Performance Of Agricultural Listed Companies In China

Agriculture is the foundation of the national economy.Only with the sound development of agriculture,can the country flourish and the people can be happy and healthy.As a leading agricultural development,the healthy and sustainable development of agricultural listed companies is particularly important.The state has continuously issued policies to support the development of agricultural listed enterprises.In the past ten years,the agricultural listed enterprises in China have also made great development,the scale is expanding,and the products are increasing.But there are also many problems at the same time.Although the overall scale is increasing,the profits are very small,the funds are very weak,the development is not balanced,and some enterprises even have the situation of loss and delisting.We can not help but question,what is the relationship between the scale expansion and the performance of the agricultural listing in China,what are the problems in the process of scale expansion,whether diversification,age,subsidy income,solvency and growth ability will affect the performance of agricultural listed enterprises and how to promote it The development of agricultural listed enterprises in China.Based on the above analysis,this paper selects the annual report data of 45 agricultural listed enterprises in China for ten years from 2007 to 2016,selects the total assets as a measure of the scale of the enterprise,and uses the Beh Finn Dahl index method to measure the degree of diversification of the listed agricultural enterprises,and uses the scale of enterprises and the degree of multi element as the independent variable;and the income of assets is used.Rate to represent enterprise performance as the dependent variable;at the same time,the enterprise age,subsidy income,solvency and growth capacity as control variables,descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis,to obtain the relationship between enterprise scale,diversification and the performance of agricultural listed enterprises.It is proved that there is a positive correlation between the scale and performance of the listed agricultural enterprises in China,and there is a negative correlation between the diversification and the enterprise performance,and the interaction between the scale and the diversification of the enterprises has a significant positive impact on the performance of the agricultural listed enterprises,that is,with the increase of the scale of the listed enterprises in agriculture and the diversification of the business.The improvement of the enterprise performance will also improve.However,after subdividing the listed agricultural enterprises into planting,breeding and forestry listed enterprises,the conclusions obtained by the related methods are different from the whole.For the agricultural listed enterprises of the planting industry,the interaction of the scale of enterprise and the degree of diversification and the performance of the agricultural listed enterprises in the planting industry.The effect is positive,but the impact is not significant,but for the agricultural enterprises in the farming industry,the interaction of the scale of enterprise and the degree of diversification is negatively related to the performance of the listed enterprises in the farming industry.Therefore,in view of the different subdivided agricultural listed enterprises,it is suggested that the agricultural listed enterprises should expand the scale of the enterprises and take the road of scale brand,and the listed enterprises in the farming industry should adopt the appropriate diversification strategy and so on.
