Study On Performance Evaluation Of Agricultural Listed Companies In China

Since the beginning of the 21st century,the world’s population has continuously increased,More and more countries have fallen into the conflict between man and land.As a traditional agricultural country,China’s development of the agricultural industry has always been the foundation of the country.Agribusiness has always been highly valued by the Chinese government.However,the fact is that in recent years the Chinese government has give high priority to agricultural enterprises,and promulgated a number of favorable policies to support the development of enterprises,but the overall development of agribusiness is still not satisfactory.Agricultural listed companies,as leading enterprises involving agricultural enterprises,cannot be well responsible for the times that led to the development of the entire industry.Based on this background this paper using a comprehensive evaluation method combining factor analysis and DEA makes an empirical study on the operating performance of listed agriculture-related companies in recent year from the time point to the time line,from the whole company to sub-industries.Conduct research in many ways.The study finds that the overall efficiency of China’s agriculture-related listed companies is not high,and the development between the industries is not the same.In the future development,China’s agriculture-related listed companies must still improve their main business competitiveness,develop boldly and be careful to invest.scientific development of listed companies involving agriculture,and at the same time,the government should,from a macro perspective,pay attention to the gaps between industries involved in agriculture,starting with purely technical efficiency and scale efficiency to improving performance of China’s agricultural-related listed companies.
