Research On Financial Performance Of Enterprise M&A

Merger and acquisition has been an important means for the development of enterprises for a long time.Companies can expand their scale rapidly as well as streamline the allocation of resources.Therefore,the performance of merge and acquisition has been a subject of intense scholarly debate.Internet companies,as the pillar of China's emerging national economy,are developing rapidly and facing fierce competition.In Internet industry,there are fast technical updates,high product homogeneity.So a large number of Internet companies also like traditional industry,raised a defiant wave of merger and acquisition,hoping to gain synergy,and expand their competitiveness in order to give priority to preempt the market and users more quickly.By reading relevant literature and research results at home and abroad,this paper sets out the theoretical knowledge of M&A activities and the means of financial performance evaluation firstly.Then it expounds the exact process and situation of IFLYTEK 's M&A activities and analyzes the development status and characteristics of Internet enterprises.Backed by the above theoretical knowledge and combined the characteristics of Internet enterprises,we selected the Wole score method and event analysis method to build a suitable fiscal performance evaluation model for this case.In order to compare the results before and after merger and acquisition from the financial perspective and the market opinion,we calculated and analysed the financial performance evaluation model.Merger and acquisition does not always succeed,and they are not entirely satisfactory.In the context of the Internet industry's enthusiastic pursuit of merger and acquisition and the arrival of the "Internet +" era,the research in this paper has functional significance.It is hoped that the analysis results of this paper can find out the key points for the success of merger and acquisition,dig out hidden problems and risks,and provide some referential experience for enterprises who want to join the army of merger and acquisition in the future,and can promote them to combine theory and practice in merger and acquisition activities and make them more rational and scientific.
