As China enters a new stage of development in building a well-off society in an all-round way,tourism has entered the era of consumer popularization,which has brought development opportunities to the hotel industry,one of the three pillars of tourism.Especially in recent years,star-rated hotels across the country have developed rapidly and the number of hotels has increased.The number of hotels has soared,and the oversupply of the market will inevitably lead to fierce competition in the market.However,from the long-term perspective of the market,the hotel market in Nanchang still has great potential for development.Under such a market background,how to implement an effective marketing strategy,preemptively occupy the market,and enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises is a realistic problem faced by local hotel managers in Nanchang.This paper takes Nanchang JF Hotel as the research object.Firstly,based on the relevant marketing theory,the macro and micro marketing environment of the hotel is analyzed.Then,through questionnaire survey and employee interviews,the marketing status and existing problems of the hotel were investigated.The results show that there are some problems in the current marketing work of hotels,such as inaccurate target market positioning,untimely sales strategy,lack of attention to loyal customer training and inadequate awareness of staff marketing.Finally,in view of the above problems,the paper gives the idea of adjusting hotel marketing strategy,and puts forward the safeguard measures for the implementation of the strategy.Through the research,it is expected to inspire the improvement of hotel marketing strategy,and provide some reference for other hotel marketing work.
