The main research area of this paper is the luxury goods market.In the case of a significant slowdown in world economic growth,some industries can also create huge profits,and the luxury goods industry is one of the industries most affected by the economic crisis.In the global luxury goods industry,Italy and China play a key role,one is a superior producer and the other is an avid consumer.The decision to focus on this particular issue stems from different motives,involving personal interests and theoretical interests.Make it an interesting case study.This research will use economic analysis methods to study the market from a purely conceptual and ideological perspective,especially the Chinese luxury market.The definition of luxury goods is closely related to the cultural and social environment that determines it.This definition of difference exists not only in the time dimension but also in the geographic perspective.The different interpretations of luxury goods depend not only on the historical period considered,but also on the location,as the definition may vary from developed or developing country.This can explain many social issues,including how individuals interact with the community and how they identify themselves,the extent of social well-being and how they are distributed among the population,the meaning of happiness to the individual,and how individuals use available resources.From an economic perspective,value is multiple.The luxury goods market has grown continuously for many years,and its scope is constantly expanding.It is no longer limited to traditional industries such as clothing,jewelry and accessories,but integrates more and more industries such as catering and tourism.The price of luxury goods and services can be several times higher than traditional market prices,and analysing the motivations that drive consumers to buy these products can help companies determine the most effective channel for creating added value for their customers.If consumers are willing to accept the huge cost of the product,it means that they give a high degree of symbolic value to the product.This paper selects Prada Company of Italy as the case study object.Prada dominates the luxury industry,surpassing fashion boundaries and operating beyond other core businesses.Prada has become one of the symbols of excellence in Italy.It has won the support and praise of all countries in the world.It has occupied a dominant position in Italian companies and has a pivotal market position in the luxury goods industry.This article uses Italian,Chinese and Reference to English literature,as well as case study methods,using HS coded data,website announcement data,to study the determinants of overseas sales of luxury products.
