Research On Performance Evaluation Of GOME Under Light Asset Operation Mode

At present,with the benefits of capital globalization and the ongoing industrial ecology,the world economy grows by leaps and bounds.At the same time,the ever-accelerated upgrading of Internet has expedited the speed and range of science and technology communication.In this new economic era,the operating model of enterprise has been constantly developed and innovated,and the traditional operation failed to satisfy the development of retail industry,making it ineluctable to turn to other new strategic routes.The operating model of asset-light is a capital strategy driven by value,using limited assets to capture maximum enterprise value,which is the combination of enterprise strategies of the present network era and the knowledge economy era.“Being Light” is more a necessity than an option.The Chinese economy has gradually shifted from a capital-intensive model to an operating model of asset-light which is led by brand influence,human resources,as well as technology research and development.In view of the development of market economy in China,the thesis takes the retail enterprise GOME as its research object.The thesis first gives a brief introduction to the situation of GOME.It then evaluates the preliminary financial characteristics under GOME's operating mode of asset-light from four perspectives: current assets,fixed assets,current liabilities and net working capital.It finally analyzes the relevant implementation strategies of GOME's operating mode of asset-light.On this basis,this thesis designs and constructs the performance evaluation indicator system under GOME's operating mode of asset-light.The AHP-fuzzy evaluation method is used to quantify the evaluation model in four dimensions of the balanced score card so as to judge the performance under the mode.An analysis is also made on how to improve its performance under the operating mode of asset-light.Aiming at the results of the evaluation,the thesis analyzes the existing problems hidden in the mode from four aspects finance,customer,operation and growth.The thesis tries to put forward suggestions to solve these problems.The research in this thesis hopes to provide reference for the enterprises in China similar to GOME while they are shifting to the operating mode of asset-light.
