Food safety concerns people's livelihood,and food safety problems mainly come from market failures caused by information asymmetry.Food is a special kind of product.Consumers cannot know the quality and safety of their products before purchase or even after purchase.Therefore,food safety is also the biggest security risk caused by information asymmetry.The information in the food market is asymmetric,and the regulators Failure to obtain quality and safety information for all foods has led to failures in market mechanisms and government regulations.First of all,this paper systematically studies the status quo of food safety,summarizes the basic situation of typical food safety incidents in recent years,and the functions of various departments involved in food safety supervision after the institutional reform in China in 2018,on edible agriculture,forestry,water,The livestock and poultry products planting and breeding links,production links,circulation links,import links,food and beverage links and regulatory information carriers are summarized,using information asymmetry theory,regulation theory,multi-center governance theory and other theoretical tools for food safety incidents and government The status quo of supervision is analyzed to reveal the implicit information asymmetry.Then this paper analyzes the current food safety supervision from the perspective of information asymmetry,and analyzes the causes behind the problem in depth.It also controls the main body of information monitoring under the current supervision mode,information monitoring methods,key information elements control,and information transmission.The shortcomings in the four aspects of the mechanism were revealed,to find out the situation of the food safety information of the regulatory authorities and the shortcomings in the information collection,and to explore the crux of the poor communication between the departments.Finally,through the experience of food safety supervision in developed countries in terms of technical support,legal and regulatory systems,risk control,and how far the main body of supervision,we will form experience in solving the problem of food safety supervision in China,and in-depth discussion on China's food safety information standardization construction and strengthening information.The improvements that should be taken in monitoring and utilizing credit information,as well as the informationelements of the entire chain that the regulatory authorities should grasp,and the construction of a food safety cooperation governance framework that is led by multiple entities.
