Study On The Location Influencing Factors Of Chongqing's Foreign Direct Investment

Since the beginning of China's foreign direct investment,the total amount of foreign non-financial direct investment has grown rapidly,fully demonstrating that China's foreign direct investment has unique comparative advantages on the international stage in different time periods and at different levels.According to data from the Ministry of Commerce,in the first four months of 2018,China's foreign non-financial direct investment amounted to 39.14 billion yuan,an increase of 71.8%over the same period last year.Over the past two years,Chongqing's foreign direct investment has developed steadily.For example,Chongqing's total foreign direct investment in 2017 ranked first in the central and Western regions.Among them,non-financial direct investment reached 1.53 billion US dollars,distributed in 43 countries,regions and 77 overseas enterprises.This is the contribution made by Chongqing's enterprises to foreign direct investment only in this year.In addition,in 2018,Chongqing's foreign direct investment has developed rapidly.Stocks have risen enormously,ranking in the top ten for the first time in China.Chongqing FDI has played an active role in expanding import and export,cultivating competitive advantages of enterprises and promoting industrial transformation and upgrading.The research content of this paper is mainly divided into five parts.Firstly,the relevant theories and literature of foreign direct investment at home and abroad are sorted out and summarized.It is concluded that the literature achievements of Chongqing's foreign direct investment over the past years can be classified into seven categories,which are summarized from seven different perspectives:research significance,Chongqing enterprises,investment location,model research,empirical research,location theory and interdisciplinary research.Narrated.Secondly,from the four perspectives of total investment,market size,market distribution and existing problems,this paper makes a general analysis of the current situation of Chongqing's foreign direct investment in recent years.Thirdly,on the basis of theory,literature and current situation,this paper analyses the location factors of Chongqing's FDI.Then,the case of Lifan Group,which has a good development trend in Chongqing's FDI,is selected to verify the influencing factors of Chongqing's FDI.Finally,the corresponding conclusions and suggestions are given.The results show that there are six main factors affecting Chongqing's FDI:economic distance,geographical distance,cultural distance,industry advantage,enterprise advantage and policy factor.At the same time,there are six main influencing factors from the subsequent case validation,but there is a slight difference between the factor of labor advantage,that is,human advantage,and the previous analysis results.Although the case is representative to some extent,due to the insufficient data,the influencing factors of Chongqing's FDI need to include the relevant FDI enterprises in a region after all.Therefore,the principle of minority subordinating to the majority is ultimately obeyed,and economic distance,geographical distance,cultural distance,industry advantage,enterprise advantage and policy factors are the main factors,with human advantage as the most important factor.Influencing factors should be considered.
