Since the 1990s,China has attracted a lot of direct investment from all over the world because of its resource advantages and its rapid economic development,as well as its potentially huge market.Among them, because of its geographical relationship with China and its strong economic strength,Japan has always played an important role in direct investment in China, and its investment behavior has also brought positive impact on the economic development of the two countries. However,in recent years,as China has traded with an increasing number of countries, while sino-Japanese trade in general has continued to grow,Japan’ s position as a direct investor in China has declined relatively.During this period, due to the sovereignty dispute over the Diaoyu Islands,China and Japan also experienced a relatively serious political gap. This"political and economic" situation has also to some extent caused Japan’ s direct investment in China has a negative impact.Through the analysis of Japan’s direct investment data in China in recent years,it is found that Japan’ s direct investment in China is different from other countries, and it has certain characteristics.Taking this as the research direction, this paper analyzes the changes in Japanese direct investment in China, the main factors affecting it,the problems existing in it,and the countermeasures for its optimization, which will make better use of Japanese investment. It is important to reduce the trade differences between China and Japan and the healthy development of China-Japan relations.Based on the theory of direct investment, this paper makes use of literature research and statistical analysis to first summarize the development of Japanese investment in China, and then analyzes the changes in Japanese direct investment in China. The changes are mainly reflected in the shift from the initial focus on cost savings to the simultaneous investment of production and the market, and from the initial focus of investment to the transformation of the industrial structure from non-manufacturing to manufacturing, and the shift in investment layout from the coastal to the inland. Then, based on the reasons for these changes, the decisive factors affecting Japanese direct investment in China are further analyzed. The factors that have a decisive impact on Japanese investment include the cost of human resources, infrastructure construction, policy environment, and the expansion of China’ s domestic market. In the end,it was found that the following problems existed in Japanese direct investment, mainly reflected in large fluctuations in investment, uneven geographical distribution of investment, and the need to improve the transfer of high and new technologies.Strengthen support; We should continuously improve our own investment environment, provide more convenient conditions for foreign investment, and increase the technology content of utilizing foreign investment so that more foreign investment can be attracted to China. |
