In this paper,we chiefly ponder the inventory operation system of mutable articles whose markets' demand restricts to price and freshness. In this model, the markets' demand per unit time is restricted to the selling price, freshness of articles, quantum of mutable articles and discount price.Popularly, the freshness of incoming ordered articles is the supreme.Howbeit, with the procrastination of time and the progress of vendition, the freshness of articles gently depresses. And after a certain period of time, the variation emerges. In order to repel this circumstances,we debase inventory by price discounts to amplify benefits of the system. For this system,we divide each selling cycle into several stages according to the freshness and deterioration of articles, and approximate the change of remaining inventory in each stage with linear and non-linear functions respectively. After that,we construct an inventory optimization system based on the maximization of net benefit per unit time.An optimal replenishment decision is furnished with retailer. Finally, numerical experiments are furnished to reveal the exactitude of the model and the veracity of the algorithm.
