Improvement Research On Cost And Service Of Logistics Distribution Of GR Company

As the third profit source is important,the important role of logistics has gained more and more attention by people,and controlling the logistics cost effectively is the important task of logistics enterprise and logistics department,and their final purpose is to provide good quality services by as small inputs as possible.In theory,finding the countermeasures of reducing logistics cost is a key link to promote China's economic development.This paper takes GR Company as the research object;the logistics and distribution management process for GR Company is analyzed and studied.This paper first describes the project background,purpose and significance of the topic,and introduces the research ideas and methods of the thesis,the chapter arrangement and structure;then it introduces concept and model of inventory management,and focuses on the VMI inventory management model,this paper also introduced the basic flow,mode and cost structure of logistics distribution,and meaning and influencing factors of logistics distribution service;Then the paper gives descriptions about the basic conditions of GR company business background and organizational structure.Through understanding the current status of logistics distribution management process of GR company,on the basis of defining the logistics distribution management process of GR company,find out the basic problems existing in the logistics management process of GR company;Then aiming at the existing problems of logistics distribution management of GR company,design the logistics distribution management scheme of GR company based on delay strategy,and through balancing the total cost of logistics distribution comprehensively,obtain the best CODP positioning point of GR company,and put forward the VMI inventory management model to reduce inventory costs;at the same time,through improving treatment process of logistics distribution orders of GR company to optimize the order processing and improve the logistics distribution service of GR company.
