At present,social capital is an important explanatory variable in the field of management research.Especially in the research of macroeconomic development and micro-organizational performance,scholars often use social capital as an explanatory variable of this problem.Domestic and foreign scholars have basically reached a consistent conclusion on the role of social capital in corporate performance:social capital plays a positive and positive role in reducing the transaction costs of corporate cooperation,enhancing corporate competitiveness,and improving corporate performance.However,the research on the relationship between the social capital and corporate performance of the senior management team is still insufficient.At present,the research focus on social capital mostly focuses on the individual social capital of the entrepreneur or the social capital of the enterprise.The social capital of the senior management team is at the development stage of research.The executive team has become the core of corporate decision-making.The internal social capital of the senior management team plays an important role in the formulation of corporate strategic decisions and the response to market competition.Therefore,this paper studies the role of social capital on corporate performance from the perspective of the senior management team.At present,China's economy is in a period of transition,and the fluctuations and changes in the domestic market environment continue.Business model innovation has become an accepted way for scholars,entrepreneurs and executives to maintain their competitive advantage and improve their performance.Therefore,this paper uses business model innovation as a mediator to study the impact of internal social capital on corporate performance.Based on the theory of social capital,this paper analyzes the impact of internal social capital on business model innovation from the three dimensions of structure,relationship and cognition,and measures the internal social capital of the team in the form of qualitative analysis;then from value discovery,value creation,Three dimensions of value acquisition analyze the impact of business model innovation on firm performance.This paper constructs a relationship model between the internal social capital of the executive team-business model innovation-enterprise performance.In this paper,the case study method is used to compare and analyze the video screen website AcFun and Bilibili,and the high-order theory and resource-based theory are used as the theoretical basis to analyze the internal social capital of the senior management team to the business model innovation from two paths.The mechanism of action analyzes the impact of business model innovation on firm performance from the perspective of value creation and resource dependence.The conclusion of this paper:The heterogeneity of executive team members helps companies to open up more markets and obtain more information and resources inside and outside the industry,but heterogeneity is also likely to create conflicts and poor communication within the team.As a result,the information resources within the team are idle and cannot be mastered and utilized by the senior management team.In response to this situation,the internal social capital owned by the team can enhance the willingness and ability of the team members to exchange information and resources within the team,and achieve the result that the enterprise can effectively utilize the resources and information of the executive members,thus promoting the smooth development of business model innovation;Business model innovation must focus on customer value,and business model innovation to improve corporate performance is to achieve value discovery,value creation,and value acquisitionThe innovation of this paper:First,it makes a preliminary attempt on the internal social capital of the executive team-business model innovation-the path of corporate performance.Most of the existing research in China focuses on the external social capital of the executive team.The impact of internal social capital on corporate performance is insufficient,and the impact path is not clear.Second,most of the research in the field of social capital focuses on the impact of entrepreneurial individual social capital or corporate society on corporate performance.From the perspective of the management team,research on social capital has certain innovative significance.Finally,this paper analyzes and summarizes the full text,puts forward some suggestions based on the conclusions,and summarizes the shortcomings of this paper.
