With the advent of the highly informationized era,contemporary large and medium-sized enterprises are in a competitive,complex and changeable market environment.In order to maintain its position in the product market,enterprises must constantly update the news,obtain the latest resources,keep abreast of market changes,develop new technologies,develop new products and,more importantly,open up potential new markets along the trend of market development,in order to improve the performance of enterprises.In order to obtain more up-to-date resources and information through multiple channels,enterprises not only need to stabilize their internal knowledge reserve,but also need to strengthen close ties with external organizations,draw on the strengths of others,absorb and absorb other people's research results,at the same time,through the process of self-digestion,constantly upgrade and optimize the knowledge base within enterprises,in order to think that enterprises can innovate in the future.The development of power provides sufficient theoretical support.Therefore,this paper chooses the five dimensions of government,suppliers,competitors,consumers and scientific research institutions as the important bridge for enterprises to acquire external knowledge and resources,and obtains specific knowledge content from different fields,so as to lay a solid foundation for the planned and methodological improvement of enterprise performance;among them,the government,as the manager of social resources,provides them.Financial support and promulgation of relevant new policies such as laws and regulations are the most critical to the influence of enterprises;scientific research institutions,as R&D personnel of science and technology,provide enterprises with the most cutting-edge technological development trends,so enterprises need to strengthen academic exchanges and communication with scientific research institutions,so as to obtain first-hand information.In addition,according to the actual development situation,we can see that innovation is the source and driving force for the continuous development and growth of an enterprise.Enterprises can improve their innovation ability,especially those innovative behaviors and activities that will produce fundamental changes,so as to enhance their performance.From this,we can see that breakthrough innovation ability is an indispensable soft power for enterprises on the road of continuous development and rapid growth,so it must be an important aspect to improve enterprise performance.Secondly,because different types of innovation also play a key role in the comprehensive improvement of enterprise performance,so directional development in enterprises.Undoubtedly,the future development of enterprises will become brighter and brighter,which is also a fundamental guarantee for the healthy development of enterprises.Therefore,the text divides breakthrough innovation into two dimensions: management and technology,which are necessary for enterprise development: breakthrough technology innovation and breakthrough management innovation,and considers its impact on enterprise performance from these two aspects.Based on the above facts,this paper makes an in-depth discussion and Analysis on the relationship between external learning(government,suppliers,competitors,consumers and research institutions),breakthrough innovation(breakthrough technology innovation,breakthrough management innovation)and enterprise performance.In addition,breakthrough innovation is introduced as a mediating variable to explore its mediating role in the one-to-one relationship between external learning(government,suppliers,competitors,consumers and research institutions)and enterprise performance.Subsequently,the relationship between these three variables is further verified and explained one by one.In this paper,through literature analysis and questionnaire survey,and through the use of SPASS19.0 system,the reliability and validity of the designed questionnaire were analyzed to show the authenticity and reliability of the content and structure of the questionnaire.Secondly,on the basis of control variables,the detailed correlation analysis and regression analysis of the collected data lead to the following conclusions:(1)External learning has a positive effect on breakthrough innovation,which has a high correlation;(2)Breakthrough innovation has a positive effect on enterprise performance,which has a high correlation;(3)External learning has a positive effect on enterprise performance;(3)External learning has a positive effect on enterprise performance.They are highly correlated;(4)Breakthrough innovation has some mediating effects in the relationship between external learning and firm performance.Through scientific data analysis and factual data synthesis,this paper puts forward the following suggestions on how to improve enterprise performance:(1)strengthen the cooperative relationship of external learning;(2)strengthen the breakthrough innovation ability of enterprises;(3)optimize the management and operation mechanism of enterprises.Only when enterprises work in a three-pronged way and adjust them to the most developed state according to the actual situation,can they greatly improve their performance.Of course,there are still many limitations in this study:(1)the geographical limitations of sampling samples,most of the samples selected in this experiment are from Eastern China;(2)the constraints of the number of sampling samples,due to the limitations of their own ability level,the number of respondents in this paper is limited,which makes the results of the survey need to be further conducted in a wide range of in-depth research;Of course,this also leaves room for further social research in the future.
