The construction industry has been in a stable development position in the national economy,but the profit margin level of the whole industry is generally low.At the same time,a large number of enterprises are involved in the construction industry every year.Construction enterprises are facing fierce competition pressure,and they urgently need to strengthen their management.For construction enterprises,engineering projects are the basic components.Only by improving the overall level of the project can the competitiveness of the whole enterprise be enhanced.This paper mainly studies the performance appraisal of engineering projects,hoping to promote the improvement of project management level,thereby enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises.Based on the principal-agent theory,project management theory and performance appraisal theory,taking the Western Airport Construction Company as a case enterprise,through field visits,surveys and questionnaires,interviews and other ways to understand and analyze the status of its construction project performance appraisal,and summarize its existing problems.The corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.In this paper,the improvement of opinions is centered on the main body of performance appraisal,the content of assessment,namely,the index system and the application of the results after examination.The focus is on the improvement of the performance appraisal index system.Combined with the situation and characteristics of the performance evaluation of the Western Airport Construction Company,based on the idea of the key performance index method,the relevant indicators of the project performance appraisal have been perfected.First of all,through reading the literature method,the indicators used in previous project performance appraisal are summarized,and an index database is established.Then,according to the data obtained from the enterprises,the strategic development goals of enterprises are summarized.At the same time,the project contract is taken as one of the reference bases.Based on this,a key success factor for achieving the strategy is extracted,and the index database is entered into the index database.Line matching,combined with the original indicators and the results of the questionnaire,get more comprehensive and objective assessment indicators.Then,AHP is used to evaluate the weights of the future indicators.In general,the company's original indicators have been revised moderately,and two levels of indicators have been supplemented.In the assessment system,the assessment criteria have been established by collecting data and interviewing with the experts in the enterprises.Put forward the suggestion that the composition of assessment team should be closely linked to business.In terms of assessment subjects,this paper puts forward suggestions on business and management,which will help to make the assessment results more reasonable.In view of the situation of the Western Airport Construction Company,this paper proposes that the assessment results should not only be used to improve the weak links of the project,but also be reasonably combined with the incentive team members.
