Cluster-level Archtectural Knowledge?Interfirm Knowledge Exchange And The Knowledge Creation Capability Of Clusters

The theory of knowledge base theory holds that cluster architecture knowledge brings competitive advantage to enterprises in cluster,and knowledge exchange among cluster enterprises enables clusters to enhance knowledge creation ability.The theory does not show the negative result of cluster architecture knowledge.It is not stated that the knowledge exchange among cluster enterprises is a behavioral process,which is regarded as a single action.The path of improvement of knowledge creation ability is not explained.This study under the perspective of absorptive capacity between the cluster enterprise knowledge exchange theory into a kind of behavior process,established the cluster architecture knowledge,knowledge exchange between enterprises clusters,cluster the theoretical framework of knowledge creation ability,to explore the influence cluster architecture knowledge and cluster the conditions of the relationships between knowledge creation ability.The main findings of this study are as follows.First,the knowledge exchange among cluster enterprises is a behavioral process,including identifying knowledge,acquiring knowledge,transforming knowledge and using knowledge.The knowledge exchange among cluster enterprises is explained more concretely,and its former cause,consequence and influence condition are further discovered.Second,cluster architecture knowledge affects the knowledge creation ability of clusters by affecting the knowledge exchange behavior process of the above clusters.Increase in the number of cluster architecture knowledge,the cluster enterprise identification of broadening the knowledge category,increase in the number of channels to acquire knowledge,decrease of conversion degree,the degree of absorption,increased the efficiency of using knowledge.The cluster enterprise recognizes the broadening of knowledge scope,the increase of the access to knowledge,the increase of the frequency of transformation,and the increase of knowledge efficiency,all contribute to the enhancement of the knowledge creation ability of the cluster.Third,cluster architecture and cluster knowledge creative ability by enterprises in the cluster connectivity,the relation of power relations within clusters,external channel,the dominant design changes and the influence of intellectual property rights protection.For identifying knowledge,cluster enterprise connectivity,external channel,the leading design changed architecture cluster will strengthen knowledge and cluster enterprise to identify the positive relationship between knowledge category,identify the knowledge category cluster enterprise a positive relationship with the cluster knowledge creative ability;Power relationships within the cluster,the increase in the protection of intellectual property,weakening the cluster architecture knowledge and cluster enterprise to identify the positive relationship between knowledge category,identify the knowledge category cluster enterprise a positive relationship with the cluster knowledge creation ability.For the acquisition of knowledge,the connectedness of cluster enterprise architectural knowledge cluster will strengthen a positive relationship with the cluster enterprise knowledge acquisition channels,cluster enterprises obtain knowledge channel of a positive relationship with the cluster knowledge creation ability.For the transformation of knowledge,the connectedness of cluster enterprise architecture cluster will strengthen knowledge and cluster enterprise transformation frequency of negative relationship,weaken the cluster enterprise transformation frequency and cluster knowledge creative ability of positive relationship;The external channel weakens the negative relationship between the cluster architecture knowledge and the knowledge frequency of the cluster enterprises,and enhances the positive relationship between the knowledge frequency of the cluster enterprises and the knowledge creation ability of the cluster.For the use of knowledge,the connectedness of cluster enterprise,external channel,the increase in the protection of intellectual property rights,enhance the efficiency of cluster enterprise cluster architecture knowledge and use of knowledge of the positive correlation,cluster enterprise use efficiency and cluster knowledge creative ability of positive relationship;The power relationship in the cluster weakens the positive relationship between cluster architecture knowledge and cluster enterprises1 knowledge efficiency,and cluster enterprises utilize the knowledge efficiency to create a positive relationship with the knowledge creation ability of the cluster.This study opens up the "black box" of the relationship between cluster architecture knowledge and cluster knowledge creation ability,and finds the path of the improvement of cluster knowledge creation ability.Theoretically,on the one hand,it fills the vacancy of the theory of knowledge base theory.Firstly,the theory fails to emphasize and clarify the dynamic process of inter-enterprise knowledge exchange in the cluster,and more regard it as a kind of behavior.Second,did not reveal the cluster architecture knowledge and cluster inverted u-shaped relatio'nship between knowledge creation capability,mechanism and influencing conditions,focuses on cluster architecture knowledge consequence and cluster before the knowledge creative ability for research.From the perspective of absorptive capacity,this paper considers the knowledge exchange among cluster enterprises as a process,and establishes the relationship model between cluster architecture knowledge and cluster knowledge creation ability.On the other hand,it enriches the application situation of absorptive capacity theory.Absorptive capacity as a process by extending the independent enterprises cluster enterprises makes the absorptive capacity theory embodied in the cluster phenomenon,which leads to establish understanding of absorptive capacity theory is more extensive and specific.In practice,first,the local government can make further decisions by recognizing the similarity of the cognitive structure of cluster enterprises.Secondly,the industry association should select cluster leading enterprises and cluster external high quality partners to make it interactive.Thirdly,for the enlightenment of enterprise strategy formulation,enterprise location should identify the convergence degree of cluster cognitive structure,cluster communication channel and knowledge broker's richness.It provides enlightenment for cluster enterprises to choose cooperative objects.
