In the urban production environment,as the cost of manufacturing factories leasing plants is increasing,small manufacturing companies are sharing the production workshops.At the same time,the production activities of manufacturing companies are increasingly oriented towards customers,production facilities are gradually lighter,and location mobility and floor space variability are increasing.Therefore,small manufacturing companies have begun to consider reducing the production cost by controlling the flexible floor spaces of facilities to improve the compactness of the layout and the utilization rate of workshop.In the case of a high degree of predictable production demand,it is suitable to adopt the method of dynamic facility layout to meet the needs of such applications.In this paper,aimed at the lowest production cost,a method for solving dynamic facility layout was proposed.The purpose was to guide small-scale manufacturing enterprises to realize on-demand leasing and on-demand layout in the joint workshop.The main research contents included:Firstly,by analyzing the division of the areas of facilities processing areas in workshop,the connection relationships between facilities in the production activities and the working state of movable facilities,it was concluded that the actual areas of facilities in the processing could be flexibly changed.Referred to the MULTIPLE layout method,the spatial fill curve was used to characterize the location of facilities,the size of facilities,and the change in flexibility.Considered the irregularity of facilities shapes and the shapes of facilities could not strictly limited to rectangles,the shapes constraint coefficient was set,and the maximum and minimum areas variation ranges were set as the flexible floor space requirements of facilities during reconstruction process.Then,a dynamic facility layout solving model with minimum costs(material transportation cost,facilities reconstruction cost and workshop rental cost)as the performance index was established.Heuristic algorithms were designed to solve the model.Firstly,the simulated annealing algorithm and the particle swarm algorithm were used to solve the optimal layout and minimum logistics cost of each planning period with the lowest material transportation cost as the target.After comparing the algorithm search performance,the final algorithm and operation data were determined.Then,the genetic algorithm was used to finally solve the multi-cycle dynamic facility layout strategy with the lowest total cost.Finally,an example was used to verify the model,which proved the practicability.of the model and the feasibility of the solution.The final result showed that if the flexible floor space variation factor of facilities in the processing was considered in the layout optimization problem,could get the optimal layout method and optimal leasing program when the enterprises need to share the workshop to produce multi-planning products,this leasing program effectively reduces the cost of workshop leasing and total production costs for small manufacturing companies.The research content of this paper provided a better layout optimization method for small-scale manufacturing plants that faced increasing production costs,especially the increasing cost of workshop leasing.
