Study On Major Planting Products Competitiveness In Linfen

Under the background of the new era,China is vigorously promoting structural reform of agricultural supply,which has become the top priority of modern agriculture development.At present,China's agriculture is facing serious imbalance between supply and demand.There is an urgent need to solve this problem through reform so as to improve agricultural efficiency and competitiveness and ensure effective supply of agricultural products.The essence of the refonn is to optimize the structure of the product industry and steadily promote agricultural quality and income.As a major agricultural city in Shanxi Province,Linfen's agricultural industry is faced with many difficulties,such as large but weak production,large yield with weak quality,and unreasonable product structure and weak competitiveness of crop-plantation.It is of great significance to planting products competitiveness,plantation structure adjustment and rational regional distribution in Linfen to continuously improve the competitiveness of Linfen's planting products through the structural reform of agriculture supply,exploring the way to develop modern agriculture,achieving high efficiency and quality of modern agriculture,and speeding up the transformation of Linfen from a traditional agricultural city to a strong agricultural cityThis paper consists of seven chaptersThrough empirical research and analysis on the tend of the comparative advantage of the main planting products in the counties of Linfen City,based on the theory of competitive advantage and the theory of comparative advantage,with Aggregated Advantage Index(AAI)and market share analysis,this paper analyzes the comparative advantage of main planting products in Linfen,such as wheat,maize,sunflower,potato,cotton,soybean,millet,apple,red dates,walnuts,etc.After measuring and analyzing of domestic market share of main planting products in Linfen,this paper compares the result with that of other main production areas in Shanxi Province.Besides,this paper calculates strength index of main planting products in Linfen,analyzes and compares the competitiveness with that of other main production areas in Shanxi Province.On the basis of further analysis of the factors that influence the competitiveness of main planting products,this paper puts forward some policy suggestions on how to improve the competitiveness of planting products and on plantation structure adjustment and rational regional distribution in Linfen.
