Research On Inventory Control Of LD Company's Imported Raw Material

In recent years,inventory problem has always been a headache for enterprises.For enterprises,the increase or overstock of inventory,including raw materials,semi-finished products and finished products,means that the operation of enterprises is in a bad condition,it also means a direct or potential loss.LD company is also no exception.In recent years,with the vigorous development of the logistics industry,the business volume of LD company is booming,and the turnover is also increasing year by year,but the profit margin is not significantly improved.One of the important reasons is that the increase of inventory cost leads to the increase of operating costs.Therefore,how to control inventory effectively so that it does not affect the growth of profit margin is the focus of this paper.Through the analysis of the macro environment,industry and internal environment of LD company,it is found that there is a phenomenon of high inventory in raw material control at present,and then the phenomenon is analyzed from five aspects of personnel,machinery,equipment,materials,methods and environment by fishbone diagram,and the main reasons and problems in each aspect are found out.In order to solve these problems,this paper proposes a two-dimensional ABC-XYZ classification strategy to improve the imported raw materials re-classification planning,highlighting the daily management should focus on key materials and important materials.On the basis of ABC-XYZ classification,the factors of demand fluctuation are added to the safety stock and the safety stock is reset.The materials classified by ABC-XYZ are further optimized,and different purchasing strategies are adopted for different types of materials.Finally,the validity of these solutions is verified from both quantitative and qualitative perspectives,and the PDCA cycle management method is proposed for dynamic management.Through this study,I hope that a series of inventory control measures proposed in this paper can be used for reference by LD company,I also pointed out the problems and shortcomings in the implementation of these measures in daily work,as well as the prospects for future inventory control work.
