We are in the new era when both the Internet and tourism are experiencing explosive growth.The way tourists get information about places they visit and the sources of information for constructing travel destination images have revolutionized.The rich and convenient network platform has largely replaced the the way to obtain information from newspapers,magazines,TV and other traditional means.The Internet platform is filled with a large number of information about travel destinations: advertisements,travel notes,films,tourism products and so on.Those all play an important role in the construction of online image of travel destination.Due to the fairness and openness of the Internet,all the information are revealed to the tourists whether they are official or unofficial,impartial or inequitable,objective or subjective.Therefore,there is a gap between the online image and the actual image of travel destination.Differences and disparities are the meaning why we do researches.This paper takes Sri Lanka as the object of study on the online image of travel destination and regards the travel of group tours and the online products of package tour as research samples for exploration and interpretation.High frequency analysis and content analysis were used to construct the online image of Sri Lanka travel destinations.Then,we evaluate the satisfaction of Sri Lanka's online package tourism products and the relationships between the three are also discussed.Taking this as an example,this paper attempts to explore the technical way of constructing the online image of travel destinations.It can be concluded from the comprehensive effect of online image of Sri Lanka travel destinations and online package tourism products of Sri Lanka that the construction of Sri Lanka travel destination online image is not successful.During its construction,homogenization and deviation occurred,which failed to show Sri Lanka's most valuable tourism resources.In this paper,starting from the concept of online image of tourist destinations,Sri Lanka is taken as a tourist destination and the exploratory research was carried out with the package tourism products and travel of group tours as research samples.The paper tries to establish the research model of travel destination online image and summarize the concept of travel destination online image theory.Taking Sri Lanka as an example to improve the effective construction of Sri Lanka travel destination online image and to improve the satisfaction of Sri Lanka's online package tourism products,and also propose the feasible scheme of improving the online image construction of Sri Lanka travel destinations.
