Optical fiber communication is a branch of communication.Due to its large communication capacity,remote transmission distance,signal immunity from electromagnetic interference and excellent security,the advantages of traditional communication is not able to be replaced in recent years.At present,optical fiber communication is the main transmission means of modern communication network.The development history is only 40 years,but with the rapid development of technology,has experienced three generations: shortwave multimode opti cal fiber communication,long wavelength multimode optical fiber communication and long wavelength single-mode optical fiber communication.The adoption of Optical fiber communication is a major change in the history of communication.and in recent years,China's Optical fiber communication has entered the practical stage and developed rapidly.Optical fiber communication is not only dominant in traditional data transmission such as traditional voice calls,CATV,Internet.Etc.with the advent of informatio n age,The future development of optical fiber communication is immeasurable.Which plays an indispensable role in the emerging fields such as could computing,big data and internet of things.In this paper,using literature research method,case study method and quantitative data analysis method,the optical fiber communication manufacturing enterprise analyses some typical problems of inventory control,inventory control Economic Production Lot(EPL,also called Economic Production Quantity,EPQ)model as the main basis,the optimization of optical fiber communication manufacturing enterprises control some possible improving suggestions are put forward.Based on S company as a case,this paper describes and analysis the company S production line A current problems in the manufacturing process,analyzes the S company since 2015 inventory control situation,economic production batch EPQ model put forward suggestions on the improvement of the company S inventory control,besides,and improvement effects are analyzed.S company as a representative of the optical fiber communication manufacturers,faced with increasingly intense competition,managers must fully realize the importance of inventory control,inventory control to reduce costs,improve enterprise competitiveness in the market.
