| The banking industry occupies an important position in the national economic system.In recent years,as our economy has entered the "new normal",the pace of banking innovation has been accelerating.As the product of positive innovation in China's banking industry,"direct bank” plays an increasingly important role in the whole banking system.In order to better analyze the role of "direct bank"in the development of commercial banks,In this paper,the effect of "direct bank" on the operational efficiency of China Commercial Bank is gradually studied in the order from the whole sample to the sub-sample.First of all,with 16 listed China Commercial Banks in 2014-2016 data as the whole sample,using DEA model to evaluate comprehensive bank operational efficiency,and then use the result of efficiency value as the dependent variable.Set the "direct bank " as virtual variables,thereby examining the impact of "direct bank" on the efficiency of Commercial Banks.Secondly,by the end of 2016,the number of "direct bank" in our country has reached11,selecting those "direct bank" as sub-samples.Set "online time","comprehensive ranking" as substitution variables of "direct bank developing",further analysis of the impact on the operational efficiency of Commercial Banks.Finally,in order to improve the operational efficiency of banking industry,we present some suggestions based on the progress of "direct bank".Results show that in the whole sample analysis,the overall efficiency values listed Commercial Banks in China still need to improve,the establishment of "direct bank " positively related with bank efficiency value,thus the "direct bank " has a positively effect on the operation efficiency of Commercial Banks can be overall verified.In the study of sub-sample,"comprehensive ranking of the direct bank" has a certain role in promoting operational efficiency of Commercial Banks,and "online time" has no significant effect on the operational efficiency of Commercial Banks. |
